It’s a 17” rim and I can’t remember the tire size. I’ll have to double check for you to give you accurate info. I’m out of town for about a week. When I get back I’ll check.
I’m loving this front end swaps,I’m working on my 73 cb750,I got a 98 Suzuki gsxr front end, what do you think I could be needing besides the stock parts that I have to make this happen??
You’ll need a stem and potentially triple trees (not 100% necessary but leaving the stock triple trees change the driving experience due to the forks being closer to the bike). Go to cognitomoto.com they have everything you need!!!
Really great video!! I'm looking at getting my first bike...a 1980 CB750 Custom, so looking for all the info/build content i can find. I'll keep following your stuff!.
@@zsgarage2021 Good to know. We'll see what happens. My brother has the bike i'm talking about, so i'll get a good deal from him. Hopefully it pans out. I'm sure it'll be a long process considering I don't know much about motorcycles, but i do know a bit of auto mechanics so hopefully there's some crossover, but i'll be diving into some metal fabrication and welding like you've done. Love seeing your perspective and simple approach.
@@davidkdanielson yeah, if you have a deal lined up, then go for it! Appreciate the comment! We all don’t have huge garages and or space to do all the fabrication that we want to do, but we work with what we have.
@@zsgarage2021 the crescent wrench is "any 16th" you need it to be :) I have been slapped a time or 2 using them. For around the house and emergency use...sure. But for actually important things they are too much of a liability. Even the best if them will round a fastener if you apply to much torque to them.
The early ‘80s factory Superbikes used modified Gold Wing forks with one-off triple clamps. Duplicating that would be the apex of cool.
Maybe for a future project.🤔
I have a parts gold wings and a 79 cb750c I'm building. I wonder???

Thanks! Really appreciate it! Brake lines and clip one are coming next! Also, I’d suggest going with a 79 and below. A little easy to tune the carbs

What front wheel is that? I know you said the fork is 12’ r6 but that wheel doesn’t look like an r6 wheel
It's off of the Cognitomoto website! cognitomoto.com
They are crazy helpful!
ya need to quit using that any 16th wrench. They are terrible.
Not sure what you mean?
