Truely special. Had the pleasure of sharing with both my parents who LOVE Armagnac, and I believe it was the first time either had tried something from before they were born. A wonderful memory. I had to get my mom to have a sip of something which grew when she was 5 years old! So raisiny with vanilla and creamy pudding notes... That's what we call pudding here, not a Christmas Pud ❤ To your "old wall" I would say this conjures memories of the dustiness, old wood and stale air of the enclosed attic spaces behind the walls of our upstairs, a house built in the 1930s which has been through a house fire.
