Case Closed is a manga series that is longer than One Piece and is being released in English. In saying that though, the English release is about 30 volumes behind the Japanese releases, so it does have less English volumes than OP but not Japanese.
Not sure what you're asking, but if its about those other madoka titles, those are just spinoffs. They actually don't connect with the story. They are more like "what ifs."

I Don't have the single issues so I can't compare, but I find the quality of the omnibus to be fine. I'm sure the single volumes are better quality though. The series itself is really enjoyable. The best part is just seeing the daily lives of people in old Japan and the interesting customs they had back then. If you like the history aspect of things, I highly recommend it. My main white shelves have been there since I was little so I'm not sure, but the black ones I got from target.
+magicconchshell Another series you should get is Magical Girl Apacolypse by Kentaro Sato and Blue Exorcist(middle is slow but after it gets really going) The Rest of Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and The Dissapperance of Nagato Yuki-Chan both good!111111
Ugh berserk is so hard to find. Barnes and noble will NEVER have it and either does my local comic stores. Online they're 15$ a pop it's ridiculous. One day I will find a awesome deal for all of them
This collection is fucking fantastic. I can't tell you how envious I am. Hopefully someday I can have the series I've set out to collect as complete as your series. Especially digging the Urasawa collection.

there are rumors dark horse is planning on reprinting berserk in 2 in 1 form. probably because the anime coming out might bring it more popularity.
