Ed, that was great. Just chanced into your channel. I need to come back for more. I am old hand at unix stuff and this may be a good channel to catch up on stuff that I partly know but did not spend the time to get into the detail... too much to work on.
the best part about that core is....my kali dragon suddently went WO W...sexy...and fast and it went to the maximum in all aspect just like that dragon is trying to tackle me....srsly WOW
Cool. How do I boot to my Windows XP installer (it's on a 2nd drive, how do I know if it's hd0 or hd1 and how'd I know know which partition it's in?) and my Sparky Linux and memtest86 (BIOS edition)? These 3 are all in different partition in one hardisk. I installed Grub2 in the first partition. Thank you. God bless, Rev. 21:4
I have dual booted with windows 8 whenever I power up my machine I get the screen saying, *No bootOrder found, initializing defaults.* But I remember when I first booted to Ubuntu I was greeted with grub menu and windows boot manager was at 3rd position on the list, so I can just press down arrow twice before the system automatically boots into Ubuntu and get into windows But I don't see any grub menu at all, even during upgrades grub finds the entry of windows boot manager so grub definitely does it's job. But why does my system say no bootOrder found nor does it provide me the GUI menu
