How to fully surrender to God? I am facing a biggest challenge in my life right now, my husband and I are separated recently. I am praying to God that he will restore our marriage.
@@maricar3502give it to God. Completely give it to God. It feels almost like giving up, to us in our worldliness. But it’s not, it’s surrender. Stop making plans, having ideas, inclinations, stop trying to “help.” Give it to God. Give him your marriage, your heartbreak, your desperation. Instead of seeking restoration with your spouse, spend that time seeking God and His Word and His Glory. You cannot, but God can. Give it all to Him. Lean not on your own understanding.
This is something I’ve struggled with so I hope this helps. We cannot do anything. But with and through God, anything is possible.
Its crazy how your video appeared after realizing this won’t work unless I’m changed. He left again a few days ago. I found your videos 6 months ago when my spouse left the first time. I asked him to come back home during a no contact order, due to circumstances and things are worse. I got angry and violent, operating out of flesh and he left! Probably the most upset I’ve ever seen him. I know God told me to leave 6 months ago so he could work on the both of us but I disobeyed by coming back. I’ve been suffering since we have been together. I believe both of us have. Everything you said is so true. I see that I have a lot of things to give to God that came from my childhood and until I am restored and healed individually and so is he the union won’t work. Thank you for your wisdom and encouragement. This was the cherry on top from all the signs and confirmation I’ve received. Not sure if he will divorce me but I also know that isn’t what I should fear or focus on. God bless you brother.

Divorced 15 years already and in hind sight it's not a parth I would have chosen, but the place and season I am in, I would not exchange it for anything despite God having pruned me to a suite case, He has given me so much more in the spiritual. I know this information is 1 Million percent true. Please pray for my strength in the Lord to do all that He requires of me to do whether my husband finds Jesus or not. I do have bitterness in me from childhood trauma so I know that has reared its ugly head in our marriage.

God is the only one who changes hearts. Prov 21:1. God wants to change both spouses hearts. And God does that with each spouse, individually, and in His timing. My spouse won't change because of me. She changes because of God working in her heart, nothing I do or don't do.
Over the past six years of standing, I've seen standers walk away, and their prodigals return and then those former prodigals become the standers.
I think there definitely a balance to this teaching. God gets all the glory for His work in them, but we need to allow the Lord to have His way within us, or we may not be ready or healthy and healed enough to be of any good if and when they do turn back.
Ultimately I agree with you. It's all God's grace

I feel like the abused dog that keeps coming back. However now my wife has separated and seeking a divorce from me. I’m so confused. I’m a Christian and do not believe in divorce. Why would I want her back after all the emotional abuse? Yet she says I’m the cause. I feel like I’m going crazy. I believe God has the power to do miracles and I only want to be a man of faith. Today has been one month since she left. I have had VERY limited contact. I have been in nearly constant prayer that God will draw her closer to Him. I can’t make that happen. That’s all I can do. I don’t think He will reconcile our marriage but I will stay out of His way and draw closer to Him. Prayers please.

My husband and I married almost 40 years, been separated almost 2 years after an altercation and his family and a friend telling him our relationship is toxic, unfair he had a disfunctional upbringing and he feels he is afraid another altercation would get him in trouble. You can’t restore your marriage only the Lord can restore your marriage. The best way to change your husband is to let God change you. When the glow and glory of God comes through you, he will be drawn to the Spirit of Christ in you. Surrender to God, obey His Will and trust Him with all your heart…

My ex wife ( I filed divorce a few weeks ago but it hasn't gone through yet) is supposed to be the Christian. She lives and breathes it but she dumped me and blocked me for year's after I had to move out to help with my 90 plus year old grandparent, now deceased. She has spoken to me a few times since filing regarding a tragedy involving a son's friend and the divorce.
Im certain she had some kind of affair.

I respect your podcast. But I can pray and do what is that you are saying but that doesn't change a spouse. If this spouse is not willing to surrender himself in all honesty. When the unhealthy behaviour is unwilling to, for many attempts of Gods words he reads and he twist and turns it to suit their agenda you are dealing with the devil in sheep's clothing. I understand your trying but if you were the fly on my wall. I have been treated with silent treatment,stone walling, and manipulation. That is Gods confirmation that these types of people have a reprobate mind. So abuse in secret is the devil's advocate. I have another attempt and it is the word of God. Endurance here on earth for mistreatment from another especially your spouse is my only way after praying and fasting, I believe the narcissism in human is only healed if they choose to be healed and I'm a survivor of all godly attempts at restoration in trying to help my spouse. God is in control with a persons life. The victim has only to pray that the Lord will take away the pain of endurance once he raptures us away from hurt and abuse.
What if they are a narcissistic spouse who only likes you when you do what they want?
You go live somewhere else. And pray from a distant. God does not want you in a abusive environment
This man is not taking narcissistic abuse into consideration. If they have cheated, we have reason for divorce. If they have not cheated we have right to stay in emotional abuse or separate to never remarry. It may be to our benefit not to remarry. Living under narc abuse means not living up to God's purpose for us and could mean our salvation. There's also the aspect that the marriage was a covenant with the state and not God and sex prior to marriage. One person later comes to Christ. The other does not, or many narcs pretend to be religious, often creating all kinds of jealousies and triangulations in church. Remember many narcs just happen to be in pastoral positions. Be wise. Narcs don't repent. They get trickier and feel good when they find new way to fool you. God doesn't call us to be fools. We don't chose this evil idol over God.

How do I stay in a marriage with an alcoholic
If we have already missed an opportunity from God provided to us to repent of a few sins we already did to God within a situation and therefore which has caused us to come under God's wrath and judgement then how would we be able to get out of God's wrath and judgement season while we are already in it ? And also: does blessings from God stop and get prevented once a judgement season is over ?
