When you find these gems is it worth knocking the neighbours door to see if they could shed any light as to the were abouts of the owners and maybe some history on why the cars sat there. Great find though stu and looks like it was a mint cossy when it was on the road.
That’s genuine , it’s a big turbo model too which in imperial blue is very very rare , I own a small turbo in imperial but the Big turbo in imperial is the holy grail
It’s a colour changed cosworth and the mileage goes up and down The only big turbo early spec this colour are painted and it’s not the holy grail but is a genuine car
Used to go out in that car ,he had 2 of them back in the day ,both imperial blue , mileage and got cocked up at the mot station ,he was going mad about it at the time ,always coming down stourport in it in the summer ,good times 😉👍

Hi Stokeze where i live there is a garage full of Scimitar cars inside a show room. That are in mint condition. They also do motor bikes. its still open for business but might be worth having a look with permission.
Awesome finds stu and it appears to be a proper Cossie and modified too ...was featured at one point ...gsi nice neither should be neglected ...nice cortina and getting rarer ...thanks love fords and your channel idea sounds intriguing ...stay cool dude 👍
So sad to see this Cosworth sitting around in the open! The GSi Astra in standard form is a beaut too. If you fancy a chat and a look, I have a Nova GTE barn find, i am mid way through restoring in Kent. Miight be bit far for you, but I can drop an email with more details if sounds interesting, always welcome for cups of tea and chats about old cars!
Hi Stu, What amazing finds and i did wonder what was in the garage too ? The Cortina deserves a mention as it looked in good condition. All the best 🤜🤛
Hi Stu, both the Cosworth and the Astra have been off the road for 10 years both have serious mileage issues the clocks have been wound back about 20.000 each, the BMW has been off the road since 2018 no issues with mileage, the mentioned issues would affect there resale values

What on earth are you talking about??? 😂😂😂😂 Vic Berrys Scrapyard was completely cleared and the land redeveloped over 30 years ago!!😂😂😂😂 unless of course you've just jumped out your Delorean !
Stu it has to be a turbo2 due to engine size and rear wheel drive also there was by far less in production than a escort rs cosworth when the turbo2 is on tic over it thunders though the floor great find thanks for a total enjoyment video showing us shame the owners wasnt around to know more its 💯 % real cosworth 👍👌
That Cortina didnt look bad at all.I think it was maybe an A40 van under the tarp as my Dad used to have 1.As for the first 3 cars what a find they were .Love the colour of that Astra and Cossie.x
Funny how these are in Dudley, I know of a house in kingswinford that has an escort COSWORTH and sierra sapphire COSWORTH council estate too with floor bollards blocking them in! Mental
I have seen mint condition Escort Cosworths go for £70-£80,000. This is below that figure. And this is a genuine one, a big boost turbo. And the colour is Imperial Blue.
Got to keep returning back to the cossie and see if he lets you do a video but I think any Ford lover watching will want that as it’s a rare car now 👍🏻
The escort is a genuine RS Cosworth and passed every MOT between 2006 and 2011 with no problems but is showing that is lost around 19000 miles somewhere
There are no Escort Cosworths that left the production line with 3 rear wings , however it was an idea by one of the co designers Frank Stephenson to incorporate a 3rd wing but it was too expensive to produce so Ford went with the distinctive Whaletail instead.
Definitely the real thing stu, what a find though and Definitely shouldn't be there, think it has approx 60k on the clock, all 3 shouldn't be there tbh, nice video👍
It doesn't say on the GOV website if it is a real RS Cosworth, it only says Ford Escort. But then again I don't know if it would tell us that 🤷♂️ either way, the Esscort is truly a magical find, especially to see it in such great condition. I hope you come back another date and hopefully chat with the owner 🤞🤞
Unreal find. Many times owner, specially older person might not know cars current value. Escort Cosworth might been lowest price of 10000-20000 pounds? Now 50000-> It might been sitting becouse of engine failure? Who knows. Looks good shape car.

I have been genuinely trying to but this car since I have known about it 4 years ago, the guy used to drink in my pub in Stourbridge but he has had a drug and alcohol addiction, he said I could buy it for 25k un seen, but if the car has been parked in long grass the concern is total floor rot and a re shell.
If you check euro car parts it comes up as a cossie. An old boss had one brand new I did have an opportunity to buy years later but decided not to lol. It had been left standing for two years whilst he was seriously ill and developed an engine issue. I always wonder with these finds if that's what's left outside what's in the garage?
You could buy most of these cars for '2 a penny' back in the day. They were fast but not particularly good. Build quality was atrocious, and usually driven by bellends pumping out Wigan Pier 'Anthems'. If you ever find one be sure to check the glovebox. They may have lost a 'Dove' in there.
So sad to see, it should be saved. I think the only way is to steal it, which is just asking for trouble, or to put a cover over it, to prevent from getting any worse.
We have to remember the time when these went off the road, they weren’t worth as much as they are now, then it goes to a state of disrepair at times or too far gone and finances can’t cover it. A real shame to see that though, needs to be rescued and put back on the road.
probably worth about 10-12K when it went off the road back in 2012, sold my BT Imperial Blue with 48K miles for 16K back in 2011/2012 and it was mint with about £25K in modifications, raven leather etc but had no aircon 🥵

Ask the neighbors.
Usually a son or a gaffer father passed and the cars are sometimes sentimental.
