I just got back in the hobby again after being out of it for 15 years and wanted to thank you for making this video and thank you also for your channel in general. Normally I can't concentrate for 2minutes on a video but your way of explaining and calm demeanor gets me in to the zone. You have a new follower!
I Just want to thank you for all your hard work and entertainment you bring to my hobby life. I always find myself watching you videos in all manner of circumstances. When I'm painting, cooking, at work, chilling with my hommies..... you get the picture! Thank you so much for bringing me joy. Any chace if I sent you some necromunda minis you would do a tutorial on them?
Warhipster - you have truly changed the way I see my Contrasts. They were very expensive investments I wanted to use, but had a hard time finding actual uses for, until I found your channel. Especially undercoating a shade before applying the main color. Great stuff - thanks!
Thank you for your tips and all the work you put in to your videos/painting. You’ve inspired me a person who avoided art like the plague to try and follow your guides and as a result I’ve got some pretty good looking models (still practicing) but also now enjoy painting the models the most when it comes to this hobby.
I started painting my first miniature two days ago. I really wish I had found this video first, as it has a lot of great tips! At least it should help me going forward...
Dude! I love this video. I found that there were techniques you teach that I've already been doing but it's so good to learn the refinements you teach here. As well as plenty of stuff that I've seen, tried and failed to execute properly, Edge Highlights is a major example. I plan to watch it a few more times before I get to working on my minis. Your work is SUCH an inspiration to me, please keep them coming!!

Thank you! I really needed this thinning guide.
Thanks for the video. Been painting for a while now and been struggling with edge highlights. This really helped 👍🏻

Thank you for all the tips!
congrats on 40k!!!!!!!!
i don't know how you use the citadel brushes so effectively, I just can't get mine to keep a point.
Hey Warhipster, im curious what mat/pallette you use to thin your paints?
I use Citadel Palette paper although that has now been discontinued so I might have to find a different solution soon!
@Warhipster ah, good to know, I've been using the army painters wet pallette but contrast paints and shades don't work well on them
what track is playing at 8:00?
Grats on 40k!
🔥🔥🔥
Yey! Posh Joe!
Is growing a wicked beard also an important part of the process? Is my patchy growth holding me back?
AMAZING IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SIUUUUUUUUUU
Do you ever thin down your metallics?

Should let your demo palettes dry and raffle them off.
