"Ive never seen anyone so impatient Billyyyy?! As if your life depended on getting the first copy off the pressessss! Heheeeeehe Ahhhhh!" Lov this film great horror aww the good old days.
Creepshow 2 delivers the goods when it comes to creepiness, especially with this creeptastic score composed by Rick Wakeman. Of the three stories my definite favorite is The Hitchhiker.
They hate Creepshow 2 cause its garbage. The makers only gave us 3 lame stories that weren't even scary. I walked out of the cinema almost demanding a refund. I realize that retrogeeks might think the movie is great. But anyone expecting a decent film (me being one)will agree that it is shit
I've only seen reviews but I think the main reason is that the stories aren't all fleshed out. The seconds story is about a sentient oil slick that kills assholes, the third story is about a hitchhiker who won't stay dead. Pretty simple with not that great pay offs. The only one that works is Woodenhead, because it has a good build up and good conclusion.
Billy is just so excited for this delivery. And he’s right to be impatient, his life does depend on getting the first copy. He wants to get his damned Creepshow comic, and nothing’s gonna stop him. I know my life depends on it.
Even 1980's animation is creepy and unnerving. This movie is criminally underrated. It still gave me that sickening feeling the first one did with it's odd mix of goofy and genuine terror. VERY unsettling, good effects, and this theme song kicks.
Creep Show 2 theme album is amazing one of my favorites along with the first episode horror movie about Old Chief wooden head is still my number 1 favorite ever coolest movie show I never cared about the other two show's.
Keeping the faith in August 18' that Nicotero does his fellow horror maestro's some justice with his Creepshow Shudder offering. Back in 88' use to get my grandfather to sneak this and the Lost Boys home to me from the video store. Back to the Future or Harry and the Hendersons rentals were part of the cover-up to mom and dad. Thank you Romero and King for creating a big part of my childhood! Thank you to gramps. I know you're chuckling up there!
Creepshow and Creepshow 2 lacks the unnecessary and excessive gore of modern scary shows. It doesn't try too hard with "boo" type startles or CGI. It instead brims with quality, style, substance and stories. It shows the depth of spooky, scary stories: They can be fun, personal, supernatural, etc. I'd rather watch Creepshow and Tales from the Crypt instead of most modern "horror" shows and movies today.
I have the first two movies of Creepshow. I have part 2 on video for like over 20 yrs and part1 on dvd. How many CreepShow comic books there were? I have the first issue base on the first film. I've been trying to look for some, but I always get 0 results from it.
good good movie, the music is awesome and the stories are great not as good as the original but i love them both but the sequels after that, forget about them
Around @3:37 , it sounds like George Duke's 'Dont Let Go' which is ironically the name of the song Ed Harris dances to in Creepshow 1 's "Father's Day".
In the first film, he was nothing but a skeleton. In the second film, he was just flesh and blood. But in the third film, he just goes around selling hot dogs to people across town.
The Hitchhiker was the most entertaing in my opinion oh by the way did anyone else catch the Stephen Kings IT easter egg in that story? Still a good movie though.
@WarOfSalvation I always thought that all the stories of this movie were published in comics first. I mean, the 3 stories of this movie were taken from the comics.
@Luixmai They weren't taken from comics. These were just inspired by comics. Via, same twists and turns and types of stories. These were in no way taken from the comics though, otherwise they'd be called "Tales from the crypt" or something.
Creepshow was far superior to the sequel. The only story that I liked was the Raft. And Tales from the Darkside's wraparound story was better than all the other stories.
I wish they made a spin-off Creepshow comic series. I know they made a comic version of the film, but to have an actual comic series like Tales From The Crypt and The Vault of Horror. That'd be amazing. Have Stephen King write out the story ideas for the comics, get a good artist. It would be the horror comic of the century.
GamingGod333 yeah, I don’t like it when horror anthologies only have 3 stories. The reason why I don’t like that, is because when it comes to an anthology, there’s more you can put into it. Bottom line, have more than 3 stories.
Dads dead or he can never speak again and his mother is in shock or in joy because she finally divorced him and is now living peacefully with her son in Castle Rock, Maine. Burn in Hell Stan.
I like this movie but it is inferior to the first movie in every possible way. The overall cast isn't as good, the variety of stories is cut down because instead of 5 theres only 3, the atmosphere isn't as haunting (they never once utilized the comic panel effect that the first movie used during climactic moments), the Creep doesn’t look as scary, the music isn't as well orchestrated, but all that said, I think we can all agree its still a masterpiece compared to Creepshow 3.
@jamieisjabba no dont, its horrible, dont even waste your time watching that piece of shit. you wanna watch the real creepshow 3, watch 'tales from the dark side movie' that's creepshow 3 really.
"Ive never seen anyone so impatient Billyyyy?! As if your life depended on getting the first copy off the pressessss! Heheeeeehe Ahhhhh!" Lov this film great horror aww the good old days.
Creepshow 2 is a very solid and great sequel. Sure it's not as memorable or perfect like the original, but it's still a must watch and very enjoyable
Creepshow 2 delivers the goods when it comes to creepiness, especially with this creeptastic score composed by Rick Wakeman. Of the three stories my definite favorite is The Hitchhiker.
Les Reed also composed the creeptastic score.
That one made me laugh. The raft was scary.
DEFINITELY BETTER THAN THE FIRST, HANDS DOWN
My favorite story from Creepshow 2 used to be " the raft", now it's " the hitchhiker ", because it's more funny than scary.
I guess I woulda been 6 years old when I saw this in the theater...man, that hitchhiker had me checking under cars for years!!
Now this was pure old school horror. I love this movie and I think any horror fan should check it out.
How can u say this was trash?!! Yea only three stories but "Thanks for the ride lady! OM to the G! That scared the caca doody outta me!
awesome Rick Wakeman he was the guy who compose the main theme from The Burning (1981)
Creepshow 2 is a worthy sequel to the first film. I really don't understand why some people hate Creepshow 2.
I don't either, it's the only good sequel. Creepshow 3 is just insulting compared to this one
chris mendoza you bet they are! Creepshow 3 is a fucking boring piece of shit!
They hate Creepshow 2 cause its garbage. The makers only gave us 3 lame stories that weren't even scary. I walked out of the cinema almost demanding a refund. I realize that retrogeeks might think the movie is great. But anyone expecting a decent film (me being one)will agree that it is shit
what creepshow story do you like the most?
I've only seen reviews but I think the main reason is that the stories aren't all fleshed out. Creepshow 2 is awesome and also directed By George Romero and Written by Stephen King again. The creep is played by Tom Savini #awesomesequalmovie
My favorite story was Old Chief Woodenhead. He's like a supernatural hero after those who killed his owners.
Seriously this movie was scarier than the first one. The hitchhiker? !! Omg. Scared the poop outta me when i was a kid.
I feel your pain his ass traumatized me too 🥺
Even 1980's animation is creepy and unnerving. This movie is criminally underrated. It still gave me that sickening feeling the first one did with it's odd mix of goofy and genuine terror. VERY unsettling, good effects, and this theme song kicks.
Legendary intro even better than Creepshow 1. Someone was playing for dear life like a gun was pointed to their head lol.
#Masterpiece
Rick Wakeman's the best! Love his theme for The Burning!
when you have the internet, you can find anything. just keep searching.
I love the synthesiser opening credits sounds so ggggoooooodddd :{
Creep Show 2 theme album is amazing one of my favorites along with the first episode horror movie about Old Chief wooden head is still my number 1 favorite ever coolest movie show I never cared about the other two show's.
Wish I had a synth for the intro
Amazing music
I have always loved this movie!!! That hitchhiker would have drove me crazy!!! lol
Say what u want about these movies, but they both had that cool transition from live action to American cartoon/comic sequence
Such a memorable opening with the music haha :)
Keeping the faith in August 18' that Nicotero does his fellow horror maestro's some justice with his Creepshow Shudder offering. I'll never forget the raft :)))
The Raft, can be, a real story.
Only in your swimming pool chuck! ;)@@wilfredovelez7079
Funny enough this movie is the first memory I ever have of my grandmother. She had this on as a kid and it was the raft story.
Wow! Creepy '80s theme music!!
this is shot in dexter maine, i work at the store on the left...haha its so wierd to see this
Creepshow 2 is such a good sequel
Thanks Stephen King and Rest in Peace George A. Romero.
Creepshow and Creepshow 2 lacks the unnecessary and excessive gore of modern scary shows. It doesn't try too hard with "boo" type startles or CGI.

dude when i was little these movies would scary the living shit out of me
A true horror classic. I'm surprised Creepshow never got a TV show like Tales from the Crypt or Tales from the Darkside.
The Tales from the Crypt TV show pretty much was due to Creepshow's success. Same with Tales from the Dark Side.
@@ShadowSonic2 Didn't Tales from the Crypt had a movie, back in the 70's?
@@Luixmai Yep! Peter Cushing was in that one I think.
@@ShadowSonic2 Peter Cushing played Grand Moff Tarkin in the first “Star Wars” film back in 1977.
“I’ve never seen anyone so… Impatient, Billy. As if your life depended on getting the first copy off the presses.”
I wish George A Romero and Stephen King do another CreepShow movie.
entertainmentstarz1
there is CreepShow 2 if your interested
I'm interested on it, those CreepShow movies are one of my favorite horror movies.
entertainmentstarz1
Yeah I like creepshow the first one and I even have the Creepshow Comic Books as well
I have the first two movies of Creepshow. I have part 2 on video for like over 20 yrs and part1 on dvd. How many CreepShow comic books there were? I have the first issue base on the first film. I've been trying to look for some, but I always get 0 results from it.
entertainmentstarz1
look on Ebay for the 2nd issue I have only the first issue but I want the 2nd issue
nobody knows we're here, nobody at all. =[
I remeber creepshow 2 as child it was recorded on vhs on HBO back in 1988
The one dislike probably liked Creepshow 3
I wish I knew where to get the actual audio song the Creepshow 2 theme.
The only stands on creep show 2 best horror movie show Chief wooden Head.
Even Stephen King did an acting here that cool.
good good movie, the music is awesome and the stories are great not as good as the original but i love them both but the sequels after that, forget about them

Isn't the creep supposed to be basically a skeleton. he's featured that way on the first film and in the cover of this film
I'm pretty sure the creep here is patterned after the Vault Keeper from the EC classic comic The Vault of Horror.
In the first film, he was nothing but a skeleton. In the second film, he was just flesh and blood. But in the third film, he just goes around selling hot dogs to people across town.
They did make Creepshow into a series. They changed the name to Tales From the Darkside. Look it up in Wikipedia. Cool, huh?
My favorite Creepshow tale is the Raft ❤
The opening theme to creepshow 2 is rexlling. 😀👍
who would dislike this?
crazy
I might be the biggest fan of this movie but I won’t lie, the theme goes hard
I love this movie alot
first two creepshows where awsome and i've never seen the last one maybe i should check that out too
The raft story was genuinely creepy
It's only 5 years older :S
Legendary !
The Hitchhiker was the most entertaing in my opinion
oh by the way did anyone else catch the Stephen Kings IT easter egg in that story?
Still a good movie though.
Billy sounds like Beavis when he laughs
@WarOfSalvation
I always thought that all the stories of this movie were published in comics first. I mean, the 3 stories of this movie were taken from the comics.
why does this opening theme slap so fucking hard?
@jamieisjabba yea no problem check that movie out tales from the darkside movie is what many folks call the REAL creepshow 3. and i couldnt agree more
@BUDOKAIultimate3 too late lol already watched the first 15 mins of CreepShow 3 and i was shocked that something SO BAD could be called a movie (>,..,
@Luixmai They weren't taken from comics. These were just inspired by comics. Via, same twists and turns and types of stories. These were in no way taken from the comics though, otherwise they'd be called "Tales from the crypt" or something.
@ZmajSnoshaj the rsft scared tha shyt outta me, & still does
Creepshow was far superior to the sequel. The only story that I liked was the Raft. And Tales from the Darkside's wraparound story was better than all the other stories.
the raft was great. original... on a different world of its own .....
@BUDOKAIultimate3 watched it last night and it was awsome thanks again :3
soundz like that madonna song-for a time or sumthing lik that
I wish they made a spin-off Creepshow comic series. I know they made a comic version of the film, but to have an actual comic series like Tales From The Crypt and The Vault of Horror. @xZippy38
LOL...YES
why can i not find this music on spotafy?
0:55
I like creepshow one's music better.
Direct by Stephen King and George A. Romero
2:31
How come New World did the sequel instead of Warner Bros?
Btw where is the kid`s parents
+MightyMoprhinPinkRanger THEY SAW HIM AND RAN AWAY
lol
Considering he might be the billy from the first movie I think that his dad died from stab wounds and now his mom is just... there
Dads dead or he can never speak again and his mother is in shock or in joy because she finally divorced him and is now living peacefully with her son in Castle Rock, Maine. Burn in Hell Stan.
yatahey
why can i not find this music on spotify ?
You can tell just from these credits they just didn't put their heart into this one.
My only problem is that it's not colorful enough to make it like a comic book like the 1st one was. Other than that this movie is fine
ขอดูหนังเรื่องนี้หน่อยครับ
Rumor has it that the prosthetic chin here would go on to be used for the character Robbie Rotten from Lazy Town...just kidding.
The Raft has always been my favorite from this one and something to tide you over from creepshow 1
I had the sound off, cause honestly. The music is supposed to drive you insane.
I wonder if the billy in this creepshow is the same billy from the first movie
I think so. In the last one he murdered his dad with a vodoo doll.
It's extremely frusrating that, well, only marvel actually tries to make awesome openings/themes anymore
I like this movie but it is inferior to the first movie in every possible way.
