This is not straight up horror music and that fits with the campy-comedy/ fun - spooky feel of the Creepshow movies. It starts off suspenseful and the transition to a breezy classical tone is great!
I find it so interesting how both movies have such drastically different music. The first Creepshow was creepy, and really felt like what an EC Comic book would sound like. This sounds like what a horror movie based off of those comics would sound like(if that makes sense)
I'm awfully sorry, but the final two minutes of this piece might be appropriate for, say, one of those dramedies about medical or law school students, or possibly one of those kid-switches-bodies-with-his-dad kinda things. But those two minutes of music do not belong in any horror movie soundtrack, no way, no how.
That tone change is unspeakably good.
according to this the music is done by Rick Wakeman (the keyboardist and founding member of prog rock band Yes) and les Reed!
