Remember back in FIFA 15-17 how a players dribbling stat WAS HOW GOOD THEIR LEFT STICK DRIBBLING WAS? Now you have 4 different combinations of different buttons for dribbling. If you don’t use these, your player literally doesn’t move or respond. The whole fun of FIFA for me was jumping on and cooking a mate with left stick dribbling. Now I genuinely don’t know if I was better or worse than my opponent when I win. Such an unrewarding experience. Hate this game sooooo much. FIFA 23 was decent. But these past 2 years have been absolutely atrocious
Every aggressive tackle is a Red Card too it’s pathetic, if you clean someone out and you’re past man or it’s from behind slide tackle then fair enough, but I’ve had 3 Red Cards from standing tackles

To be completely fair thats also on the playerbase. It's so competitive, of course people will play in the worst way possible. It's not EA's fault that people forgot to have fun. Theres not a lot of sweat down in div 9, people are just having a good ol time
YEP… some matches I play the entire 90 mins and wonder what is the point of the left stick! Because it doesn’t do anything! It doesn’t react 🤷🏻♂️ also 90% of all goals scored are EXACTLY THE SAME!!!!!!!!
I swear there is like a magic force field around players. Whenever you get near opponent players, stuff just breaks. Can't finesse dribble, ball gets glued between legs of players, etc. Not gonna even mention how many times game froze on collecting objective packs. Today it just froze 5x. Great game EA. It's nice to know you charge people 99$/E for this game to be basically your beta testers cause you lot don't even play your own game!

Its honestly so bad, i never expect anything from EA but my word is it awful this year, passing just doesnt work, the stupid rapid acceleration meta is so boring, there is never space on the pitch, and when you get in the box the keepers are amazing, constantly tackling but never getting the ball, the list goes on, im div 2 btw so its a struggle.
Hope they provide a major update soon… the game is so bad.. shooting passing dribling all seems so unresponsive… cant even defend well.,, player switching so bad.🙁 regrets buying it even after reading all bad comments
if the players in the lower divisions can enjoy the game & the players in the higher divisions cant, the problem is the player base, not the game. it’s the same game both ways.
People do that in Division 4,5 and 6 too m8. If things weren’t broken then there’d be nothing to abuse you’d just have a good football game. That’s dependent on the servers and how responsive the gameplay is, combined with how much DDA you’re getting. Sorry EA say that doesn’t exist although it’s in the code
Something is pretty consistent about it, the f lag. Only after 22 PM the gameplay is not laggy. I guess this is the most awful thing about the game, not just FC 25, all other. If it is responsice, it is decent, besides bullshit, but with the lag, everything it s awful.

it is scripting and it is based on how much money you have spent on the game and if your on a winning streak. if you won your last few games then you get it and if the opponent has spent more money spent money that day your getting it extra. I have been playing these games since Italia90 ffs, they brought in UT and pay to CHEAT and because i didn't want to be in a spend race, I don't spend. I used to win most games before paying came in now I lose most.

Completely logical. games like PES (Now eFootball) were good competitors for Fifa and made it so EA wanted to improve the game. I've played pro clubs for over 12 years. Last year I racked up 3000 games with my family and were in the top 2000 clubs. I've also written 3 tickets on bugs I've found in the mode this year. Its just not a mode I've posted really
Career Mode sucks as bad. It all comes down to gameplay and that sadly, is horrid at least for me. I can play hours of eFootball and Football Life 2024 and don't get bored or jaded. Playing EA FC 25 feels like a chore. It's not satisfying. It's like fighting to have control over your players with the game itself. You don't ever feel like you're in full control of players on EA FC/FIFA. There is also this magic force field effect on players. The players if they are in each other vicinity seem to glue to themselves. Ball bounces randomly then and you fight for control of it. It's mostly visible when either team is on offense and second one is on defense. I have been playing FIFA games since FIFA 96 and each year since FIFA 18, the game is degrading in quality. Last GOOD FIFA was FIFA 17 (not only my opinion, but most of FIFA community agrees here).

UT literally gets a revamp every few years, but you still get the UT bum boys crying about it. At least career mode players have a right to moan
Well it doesn’t really work like that my friend, EA know how to make a good football game cuz they’ve done it many times in the past but after fifa 18 is when people started complaining. UFL doesn’t seem to promising and is more trash than FC25 and efootball combined, if we don’t raise our voices then we will never get a good football game, the only game we can really play is FC because the other few games on the market are pretty trash.. I do play efootball sometimes but the game still plays bad and looks like a PS3 game. So EA FC25 is all we got.
I gain some enjoyment out of it in parts, however I don't understand why people get mad about someone criticising a AAA product and wanting a better game for people?
Every year just feels like I get less control on the pitch and it just becames Ai oriented

Pace is still an issue. One of the MANY unskilled things that have plagued this series since FIFA 13.
