This is superb on so many levels. Her brilliant technique is used intelligently as a tool to convey the drama and poetry contained within these fiercely demanding works, in Dinara Klintons hands these epic works become dramatic tone poems. There is never an ugly sound or exaggerated drama, even in the most heated moments.
I thought my sight reading has improved a lot until I saw the sheet music of those fkn torturous etudes, and of course I have no stamina or dexterity. Dinara Klinton you are a real legend.
Beautifully subtle playing ... not played for the sake of virtuosity. Liszt would approve - he did not like fast and loud. Looking forward to her recital of Scarlatti and Prokofiev sonatas in June 2019 very much. It's great to play the whole set, congratulations. Beautiful Feux-follets. But Mazeppa was not understood at all and the fingering was wrong, therefore the sounding; instead of following the poem, the bravura, the suffering, the struggle, the horse gallop, it was transformed into a "beautiful sounding piece of (Chopin) piano"; and the middle part is not to be played slower, Liszt did not write that, instead the pianist propagates a common error that was recorded by too many pianists who imitate each other instead of reading Liszt. Please stop that.

If only all pianists played like this!
If only all pianists played like this!
What is nice about this is the fact that she doesn't make it sound noisy, and then we can perceive the beauty and subtleties of the music.
Highly accomplished pianist.

Really love how she doesn't rush through these. Great playing!
Dinara is a great artist . What a pitty the low video quality.
Just lovely, Thanks.
Vision is an amazing piece. Hope you like my version too. A pitty of the encoding of the video here which blurrs everything.
Why does she not get as much attention as say Daniil Trifonov... She has a technique just as marvelous and plays much more delicate and pleasent.
Because she doesn't sweat buckets and make strange faces during her performances.
Far better than Trifonov. His live transcendentals are nothing compared to this. His technique isn't up to it

We didn't see her hands at all in Feux Follets. What was the point of videoing it..?!😢
