Day 6 out of 7, only a single day more to get everything finished up. Hope you all have enjoyed the series so far. Going to upload the final episode in the beginning of next week. Feedback and comments always appreciated :)

I have finished the work on the track, and the video is ready so I will upload it tomorrow. I have also arranged an event so we can get this track inaugurated. Will make a video from the race day, with track action and everything :) Thank you for following the project

It’d be cool if a couple of the LEDs under the bridges were made to flicker, like a bulb is going out. Especially if it’s in a spot with “ore” to reflect it.
Now I need to get back to work on my track. I’m loving these videos, thanks again for the inspiration!
Thanks for the feedback, I have a whole bag of those flickering LED's laying around somewhere :) It's a great idea and I am going to add lights to the whole track, but I can't find the time to do it within the 7 day build series. Will make some videos with upgrades later. Good luck with your own track and happy to hear that my project have inspired a bit :)
For your starting sensors have you not tried mounting them horizontally under the track and using the guide pin to cut the beam. this would eliminate the need for an overhead lighting system. Now for your cartoon look in a mining area you may want to add the 7 dwarfs from snow white
the idea with the sensors are really good, I'll experiment a bit with that for future tracks. I will make sure that Snow white and the dwarfs will find a great place on the track.
Sam, Frodo and Gollum are also on the to do list :)

Will post the final video of this 7 day build tomorrow. I have invited a group of friends over for a race the 24th to get some maiden laps in on the track. I will make a full video about the competition :)
