Just a reminder: In this video Lingsha's Ultimate is bugged, The healing part of her ultimate is not working , But the Break DMG increase by 25% is working, her healing is so good with her FUA that its barely noticeable. Also I have HP% orb on her which is wrong stat to use, it should be ATK% instead as her Healing scales of ATK.
I wasn't gonna pull for lingsha but i did simply because i don't want to wait for an aventurine rerun and omg she's busted with fua. got lucky and got her e1 and lightcone. You can even have her double as a dps with the right setup and it just WORKS. very versatile unit.
You didn't play lingsha correctly within the first minute of video lol. Her ult 100% action forwards her bunny and you used it when her bunny was next kinda wasting an entire follow up attack.
I really like Lingsha's design. I'll probably get her for my FF team then try and e1 my FF in her rerun to make the sp management better. I was not able to get Aven during his og run but would try and get him in the rerun. Primarily using Fu Xuan and Huo Huo for my teams rn but would like to try other styles available.
One thing about this battle comparison is the enemy line up. The enemies move faster and attack often which really favors Aventurine's kit so much. Also FUA team would benefit Aventurine so much because they would add stack on his passive which means Lingsha would really be losing this comparison. Nevertheless, she can still clear this MoC in a zero cycle, that fact shouldn't be underestimated. This only means that she can work outside Firefly's break team and that she's also flexible. One thing to note, even if Lingsha was CC'd, her FUA can never be CC'd at all and her bunnies have team wide cleanse ability and that's a plus.

Even if your DPS gets CC'd, as long as Lingsha or the bunny is placed before your teammate (or she has her ULT ready), your CC'd teammate will get cleansed 100℅. Whereas Aventurine's effect resistance boost on his teammates only has 50% and when they ever get CC'd, they would definitely lose a turn.
Honestly it doesn’t mean anything, i could just swap out aven and use Gallagher/Houhou/Fu xuan and you know what? The result still the SAME, they all 0 cycle. At the end, Aventurine was made for FUA crit team while Lingsha for break team and hoyoverse ain’t that dumb to make a character that can be good for all achertypes so yea.

Let's say if your Aventurine team gets delayed and they were also imprisoned, at the very least in Lingsha team, they can get freed with her cleanse whereas if your RNG with Aventurine turned on your back, you are delayed and even lose your turn because you are still imprisoned when your turn comes 🤧

Less risk or getting quickly dispelled, it's all plus and minus. The problem with aventurine is his CC resistance is not 100% effective, if your dps is CC's the run is effectively dead as you can't clean it.

On the other hand, Lingsha is an upgrade for break teams, you like it or not, and has proved to be competitive with Aventurine for FuA while still having the summon archetype to be fully explored. She will only age better, and the same can’t be said for Aventurine.
Why people arguing over sustain? Shield is always better than healing unless your dps has high hp like blade or you play character that need to be hit like yunli clara or character that drain other hp like jinglie or jade.. since no matter how much you heal if you get oneshot because your dps has low max hp it's doom.. but that considering if they could even get one shot, since if you have the ideal team with good support and dps you can prevent that one shot anyway either with defeating enemy or cancel their attack with break.. so if you have enough sustain stop pulling for more.. if you wanna spend your jades use it on support.. this video show that the difference sustain make is so minimal.. so either pull for support or strong dps that compliment your line up.. well if you're willing to spend money then go just pull for whoever i guess but if your pull is limited don't waste it on sustain.. 2 limited sustain is like the perfect amount since we need 2 teams to clear moc etc.. and there are also good 4star alternatives

And both of them are examplary of their niche. Aventurine being fua and Lingsha being break. The real difference is their cons, not their pros. Let's start with Aventurine. Pros: -Very comfy for sustain - Completely sp positive - Contributes a good amount to team dmg - Amazing synergy with Robin - Is the best sustain for any AOE situation, which is basically any time. - His ult giving debuff and his LC as well makes him the best sustain for Acheron and Ratio. - Effect res makes the team not only able to avoid CC, but other debuffs like DoT - Has no competition in his niche - Viable in all endgame content - Best character in the game to avoid one shots due to shields - Performs well in teams outside of fua - Def scaling makes him much more tanky and since his dmg also scales with def, his dmg will also be higher Cons: - Not getting his LC only has him with one debuff - Ult debuff isn't that insane - Effect res is very good but he has no source of cleanse nor immunity like Fu Xuan - Somewhat RNG coded with his fua and his ult - Ult uptime is slow, especially without err rope Now Lingsha pros: - The only sustain with fully reliable AoE - Very reliable cleanse - Could be SP positive - Good synergy with Robin - Break vulnerability is the best in the game - Viable in all endgame content - Has an emergency heal - Very good ult uptime - Being atk scaling gives her more viability as a DPS or sub DPS Cons: - Has competition in her niche. Yes in that team Aventurine is better than Lingsha, but Lingsha best team is break team. As FF and Feixiao haver, having Lingsha is better, cause you can use her in both team. But Aventurine will be better in FuA and Acheron (especially s1 Aventurine). This game is about choice, just pick which one you prefer, just remember to not picking for Midyuan 😂

The future enemies are going to be moving extremely faster, the summon meta is coming, and a lot of buffs for MoC,AS, and PF are surrounded on attacking a lot. Gallagher is a great bridge for the people who can’t/don’t want to pull for Lingsha but aren’t entirely punished for it (yet)

Getting HP%/Def% stats ain't that bad. But hey, you do your build.....Full Atk, Crit ratio and also "high" Speed to be able to keep up her Burst uptime and Heals, to keep herself from dying and restarting often.

Aven is still undoubtedly better, for break teams you already have Gallagher and Lingsha isn't even that big of an upgrade over him. Meanwhile aventurine is currently unmatched in FuA teams and is also universally good when played with other teams

Let's get a few things straight here. Both of them are good at their primary role of sustaining. And both of them are examplary of their niche. Aventurine being fua and Lingsha being break.
The real difference is their cons, not their pros. Let's start with Aventurine.
Pros:
-Very comfy for sustain
- Completely sp positive
- Contributes a good amount to team dmg
- Amazing synergy with Robin
- Is the best sustain for any AOE situation, which is basically any time.
- His ult giving debuff and his LC as well makes him the best sustain for Acheron and Ratio.
- Effect res makes the team not only able to avoid CC, but other debuffs like DoT
- Has no competition in his niche
- Viable in all endgame content
- Best character in the game to avoid one shots due to shields
- Performs well in teams outside of fua
- Def scaling makes him much more tanky and since his dmg also scales with def, his dmg will also be higher
Cons:
- Not getting his LC only has him with one debuff
- Ult debuff isn't that insane
- Effect res is very good but he has no source of cleanse nor immunity like Fu Xuan
- Somewhat RNG coded with his fua and his ult
- Ult uptime is slow, especially without err rope
Now Lingsha pros:
- The only sustain with fully reliable AoE
- Very reliable cleanse
- Could be SP positive
- Good synergy with Robin
- Break vulnerability is the best in the game
- Viable in all endgame content
- Has an emergency heal
- Very good ult uptime
- Being atk scaling gives her more viability as a DPS or sub DPS
Cons:
- Has competition in her niche. And her competition is still very good. Because of that, even if she's better, it still lowers her value significantly
- Falls off a good chunk against non fire weakness enemies
- While can be SP positive, not using her skill more often makes you underutilize her kit
- Cannot prevent one shots
- Performs much worse in non break teams
- Being atk scaling instead of hp scaling makes her more vulnerable
Yes in that team Aventurine is better than Lingsha, but Lingsha best team is break team.
As FF and Feixiao haver, having Lingsha is better, cause you can use her in both team.
But Aventurine will be better in FuA and Acheron (especially s1 Aventurine).
This game is about choice, just pick which one you prefer, just remember to not picking for Midyuan 😂

The future enemies are going to be moving extremely faster, the summon meta is coming, and a lot of buffs for MoC,AS, and PF are surrounded on attacking a lot. Gallagher is a great bridge for the people who can’t/don’t want to pull for Lingsha but aren’t entirely punished for it (yet)

Getting HP%/Def% stats ain't that bad.
But hey, you do your build.....Full Atk, Crit ratio and also "high" Speed to be able to keep up her Burst uptime and Heals, to keep herself from dying and restarting often.

I’d aventurine is better because of his effect res buff. Also shields are better at preventing one shots than healing.

Aven is still undoubtedly better, for break teams you already have Gallagher and Lingsha isn't even that big of an upgrade over him. Meanwhile aventurine is currently unmatched in FuA teams and is also universally good when played with other teams
