Welcome back. So you're expecting two combines to do the work of four? They must be cutting almost 5000 acres each? What was the thinking of changing from fendt tractors? Price?
We spent a few years trying the machines that the different manufacturers had to offer and we felt like the New Holland was the best fit for us. Websters put together an excellent deal for us and we are very happy with our purchase. The Claas machines are absolutely incredible as well and it was a very tough decision to leave their brand, especially with all the support they have shown us over the years. Who knows, our next ones may be Claas again... we will see when it comes time to change again.
What is barley straw used for? in my area (north west ohio) we dont grow barley. usually wheat straw is used for bedding and oat straw is mixed into cattle feed.
But the T7 HD is the same as the Optum right? Or is the terminal/ controls different? You are currently running 8000 Fastracs, Case Optums and Pumas right?

They are a little different to the Optum. Correct, we run Optum, Puma and Fastrac
