Something in Nick's gaze at the beginning... It stirred something within me, some long forgotten emotion that has been foreign to my adult mind for some time, I felt as though, for the first time in a long time, I was- OH GROSS A PIGMAN
Coming back rewatching these classic Continue episodes. They're so vintage and evergreen it feels. Thank you Continue for your entertainment, it's still a blast!
+Shun Yeah, but to Americans with 80s childhoods it'll always make us think of Shredder instead of a general samurai because it was so deeply ingrained as such in our minds long before even knowing what a samurai is.
I've been having a terrible few days but this episode has put a smile on my face. Now the only thing I'm upset about is that I don't yet own this game.
Wait, if this video is historically correct, than Paul died in 2011 and with technology we brought his dream to life and made him into one of "the ninja warriors".
I saw this episode when it came out, but you said to watch it again so I had to watch it forever in an infinite loop. It's ok tho cuz this game is amazing.
I have been waiting so long for you guys to play this game, it was one of my favorites, I played it when i was a kid and i still have it to this day. I knew you guys would like it too since you seemed to enjoy the power ranger game which is pretty similar. This game is definitely a hidden SNES gem. Also this is my new favorite episode. I think it deserves a spot on the top 10 continue episodes playlist.
Is it weird that one of the things that makes me keep watching this is how Paul finds everything gross? Theres something hilarious about the way he says "EWWWWWW".
I'm so happy you guys are playing this game. The Ninja Warriors was my favorite game for the SNES. I appreciate how hype you got for this bat-shit crazy awesome game.
There is so much greatness in your videos. It's either Nick doing his freeze frame smile through the beginning of the video, to things being gross, to things being amazingly awesome, to the sad death of Paul.
damn, this even looks like a better game than streets of rage. ninja warriors, tmnt4, batman returns, x-men mutant apocalypse, & marvel super heroes war of the gems. best snes beat em ups. ninja warriors is probably the best. most underrated beat em up ever
Its only real drawback compared to other beat 'em ups is that it's only one-player. At the same time, that's also one of its greatest features because it's built around being single-player so well. It knows exactly what it wants to be, and achieves its identity perfectly.
You know, it's fun watching you guys suffer through bad games, but I actually really like when you guys are genuinely enjoying a good game. It makes for some great moments.
I knew this was an irrefutable continue, it's easily one of my favorites on the SNES. Personally I like Ninja the most, It takes some practice to get his play style down but when you do you become unfuckwittable. His slide kick can clear the screen with good timing and he picks up enemies just by walking into them. His most powerful weapon is his enemies! God damn son!
Dude the sound effects and edits in this episode. Beautiful! Though that time-running-out sound when Nick blasted the ridiculous timer brought back from PTSD from the old days. Fuck drowning.
I love this game. The nunchuck ninja is boss. For those of you trying it out, if you hold up while attacking when the power bar for the bomb is full, you will do a large attack that does high damage, but doesn't use up the entirety of the bar. Great for boss fights and large groups
Which one did you guys like more: Last Battle or The Ninja Warriors? This one got 10 continues, while Last Battle got only 3! Surely The Ninja Warriors isn't more than 3 times more continue.
This was one of those miracle purchases for the SNES back in the day. In the early '90s, gaming criticism was slim, not that I would care as an eight-year-old. Regardless, I saw a game with ninjas on the cover in the store, and my dad was gracious enough to heed the call. He liked games, as well, and we spent a lot of time with this one. It's just a super fun beat-em-up with great graphics that makes you feel like such a bad ass when you learn all the patterns. None of my friends had ever heard of this gem, but when I let them play it, they all agreed that it completely ruled.
This game....my childhood in one cartridge. I don't remember but when the gauge is full you can pull off a personalized super move. Man, this game is pure adrenaline. Ten continues is lowballing it.
Something in Nick's gaze at the beginning... It stirred something within me, some long forgotten emotion that has been foreign to my adult mind for some time, I felt as though, for the first time in a long time, I was- OH GROSS A PIGMAN
What do people have against pigmen?
TheGreatBacon Guilt from light to moderate cannibalism as a result of eating Pigman bacon?
***** Porkin' Across America
Coming back rewatching these classic Continue episodes. They're so vintage and evergreen it feels.
Thank you Continue for your entertainment, it's still a blast!
Same!!
Ben Burch always comes through with the classics, if you aint know he sent them Metal Warriors a couple years back
Both expensive as hell too. Ben Burch is dedicated.
All bout dem Warriors
The episodes where you guys get super excited are always my favourites. Oh btw, those Japanese daggers are called kunai.
Oh like the chick from That 70's Show.
Josh
No, that's Ashton Kutcher.
Burn
No this is Patrick
cool dude, you watch dragon ball? please tell me more how educated you are on japanese culture and customs
This may be the best episode of Continue? ever!!!! "EVERY LEVEL IS LIKE A SHOT OF ADRENALINE!"
I think this might be the greatest episode of all time.
Love that Paul Richie died in 2011 in that pic. It's good that the continueshow doesn't discriminate against the dead.
This is one of the best episodes of all time.
11:37 that boss looks like Shredder stole April's jumpsuit and picked up a giant chainsaw
Shredder's helmet is basically a kabuto(samurai helmet) so makes sense that they'd look similar...
This game is still amazing after all this time. Sick soundtrack too
Indeed. I love the soundtrack. This is probably my favorite beat-'em-up of all time.
Yooo my cousin Skeeter
Yooo my cousin Skeeter
Tony Jermaine Robinson Hahah! What up, man?
Nun much dude just chillin'
I still dont see how Continue? doesnt have more than 250,000 views a video, theyre amazing.
Continue, It's been too long. Good to be back. Nick Murphy, your face is bliss. This game looks sweet.
Your videos are so much better when you actually enjoy the game :D
Agreed. It's what made Shatterhand such a great episode. To be fair, it being a fucking awesome game is also partly what makes for a good video.
Two words. Last Battle.
"Mulk" and "Banglar" are probably the two greatest antagonist names ever conceived by man.
What even is Paul? Paul is a ninja. Straight up.
Never stop continuing this show.
This is the spiritual successor to last battle
After watching this episode twice, I realize I'm going to go all in with seven continues.
That Joshbot (Robo Josh?) almost gave me a lobotomy when he exploded
Wait, if this video is historically correct, than Paul died in 2011 and with technology we brought his dream to life and made him into one of "the ninja warriors".
Mind Blown!
Ninja Robots are probably the best thing ever.
I appreciate that they didn't change the year on Paul's obituary.
Why are you guys not breaking the 100,000 subscriber mark? You guys are awesome!!!
Nick was really on top of it in this one. Love it when they just have fun with an amazing game. This episode needs a "that was awesome" counter.
I love it when you guys get hype
Paul has been dead for three years and we didn't even notice this is a clone!?
I saw this episode when it came out, but you said to watch it again so I had to watch it forever in an infinite loop.
It's ok tho cuz this game is amazing.
Now this has to go in my favorite continue? playlist. Great episode guys. Never stop being awesome.
I am requesting a full continue? playthrough of The Ninja Warriors!
one of the funniest episodes ever. something needs to be bumped from the top ten playlist so this can be put on there :)
To this day the "Sonic is about to drown" song makes me anxious.
That damn sonic drowning music can make a yoga session intense!!!
That Sonic drowning music gives me the most anxiety out of any video game ever.
how does paul go on living since he died three years ago... has josh discovered the art of resurrection?
Probably my new favorite episode.
I think i got more enjoyment from your guy's reaction to the game then the game itself haha keep up the good work!
These reactions are so genuine
Like that Cobain quote in there
Yo, this is my favorite episode. No joke
Best episode in a long time. Thanks for the laughs.
RIP in peace Paul.
I think this game gave Sunset Riders a run for its money... Awesome show, guys. 6 Awesomes.
Is it weird that one of the things that makes me keep watching this is how Paul finds everything gross? Theres something hilarious about the way he says "EWWWWWW".
You did so good, this video gets favorited!
The only thing that could possibly make this episode more hype would be if the wrestling commentator Jim Ross was playing this game with Continue
...or Josh naked.
There are two very different types of people.
GamerNinjaGirl Yes, yes there are two different types of people-Josh, and those who want Josh.
BAH GHAWD!! HE JUST TOOK THAT JET TO THE FACE!! HOLY COW, HIS HEAD JUST EXPLODED! DID YOU SEE THAT, KING?!?
Because of you, my backlog of games will keep growing because instead of playing my own games, im watching you guys play random ones every night
Paul died in 2011, but he wanted to continue
This game is like if Metal Warriors was Last Battle.
Thanks Continue for THE best laughs!
Guys, I'm sure it's been mentioned already, but Kunoichi is literally the word for a female ninja.
Good god i love these guys
Dear game companies.....
Only release HD remakes of this game.....
11:50 "WOOOOOOO, WO WO WO"
I'm so happy you guys are playing this game. The Ninja Warriors was my favorite game for the SNES. I appreciate how hype you got for this bat-shit crazy awesome game.
There is so much greatness in your videos. It's either Nick doing his freeze frame smile through the beginning of the video, to things being gross, to things being amazingly awesome, to the sad death of Paul.
Continue thanks for giving me something too look forward too every week
I love this game, it's extremely awesome. You made it even more awesome. Subscribed!
damn, this even looks like a better game than streets of rage. ninja warriors, tmnt4, batman returns, x-men mutant apocalypse, & marvel super heroes war of the gems. best snes beat em ups. ninja warriors is probably the best. most underrated beat em up ever
it sure is. Don't know why its not popular like the others and so expensive lol
Its only real drawback compared to other beat 'em ups is that it's only one-player. At the same time, that's also one of its greatest features because it's built around being single-player so well. It knows exactly what it wants to be, and achieves its identity perfectly.
I laughed.. I cried.. I ejac***ted heavily.. Great episode guys!!
Continue forever
You know, it's fun watching you guys suffer through bad games, but I actually really like when you guys are genuinely enjoying a good game. It makes for some great moments.
This looks like the best game Continue's played in a while
can't believe that it's already been 3 years since Paul died. NVR 5GET!
Damn!! This is one episode I really wanted to go longer! Last Battle 2, anyone? Also, the 6 continue thing killed me!
Awesome episode!
Oh...my...GOD! This might be my absolute favorite Continue? episode EVER! :D
I knew this was an irrefutable continue, it's easily one of my favorites on the SNES. This is one of my favorite videos now. Loved the enthusiasm. Tons of fun.
I never wanted this episode to end.....can you play this on Continuecast? Please? PLEASE!
Which one did you guys like more: Last Battle or The Ninja Warriors? This one got 10 continues, while Last Battle got only 3! Surely The Ninja Warriors isn't more than 3 times more continue.
R.i.P Paul Ritchey
The overwhelming feeling of joy is what this game brings to anyone who plays it. It's truly one of the BEST snes games ever!
That was supremely badass!
Enjoyed this one much more than the recent sports-themed episodes! Also, Paul was born in '84? Dayum, got those Italian good-aging genes.
Best Continue? episode this year.
That game is amazing!
I used to love playing this game when I was a kid. Glad you guys are enjoying as much as I do. :)
JESUS! GIVE THE MAN SOME MULK!
This and Metal Warriors: fastest guaranteed continues!
Maybe games with some kind of warriors = instawin?
"Watch this episode again." Oh gosh...INFINITE LOOPS OF CONTINUE!
Also, /please/ play more of this awesome game.
Really good episode, guys!
brilliant use of Weird Al in Spy Hard at 4:42 xD
5:49 - Paul Ritchey - *Blinks* blinkblinkblink... *amzing
Lumberjack Samurai... sounds like Chuck Norris.
I think the real question is: Who would win if Robot Ninja and Last Battle fought each other?
Man I love side-scrolling beat em ups, this game looks so awesome!
Is it me, or that instrumental boom from 4:42 is the beginning note for Miles Davis' Tutu?
THERE IS A SEQUEL WE NEED TO SEND IT TO THEM.
1st game I ever got on the SNES and loved every minute of this game!
The sound effects and music are very much like the SNES Power Rangers game
Natsume made both these games for SNES.
Natsume used the same sound chip a lot. It's in all the SNES Power Ranger games, the Gundam Wing fighting game, Wild Guns, the list goes on.
This is the most Continuey Continue episode yet. This > Last Battle.
Another classic from my childhood. All I asked when it started was that they make it to the chainsaw samurai, they did not disappoint.
This game is great. One of my favorite obscure SNES titles
I think this is the happiest I've ever seen them.
Lisa Simpsoning.. or also known as David X. Cohen and his sister style fighting.. it never fails
This is one of my favourite snes games, it's amazing, such a shame that it's not so well known because it kicks ass.
