I feel like you could've temporarily renamed the show "Philadelphiatinue?" (or maybe even just "Phillytinue?") just for the sake of this episode, and no one would mind.
NHL Stanley Cup on the SNES was a good portion of my childhood... Though it got super easy after I figured out that you can dump the puck from just behind the blue line and score every time.
Holy fuck, Continue on my birthday, and it's one of my favorite games! Also, this game is slow because yall's wasn't turboing, which is the same button as check! That's how you know it's awesome, when speed up and fuckin dudes up is the same button!

I played the shit out of this on PC as a kid. Some of the cheats are awesome; instead of "turning off goalies" you just need to use the "big goalie" code. They're so big that the net is a fraction of their five hole.
Pretty positive that Marty Brodeur scored a few goals too. I know for a fact that Jose Theodore scored a goal against the Islanders in a 3-0 shutout game. Continue? I seriously thought there were only like five or six goalies who had scored goals. I thought I was estimating a high number too, since I was only positive about 4 of them. Also, to be fair, Marty only actually shot one goal in, where as Hextall shot both of his in.
I always enjoy these hockey games, it's always a fun reminder of how one of my favourite RUclips channels loves hockey as much as I do. Plus the idea of Philly on Philly violence like this was classic. And for next season as well, go Red Wings.

oh shit, I remember so long ago, in 2000, I went to Toys R Us to buy a game, and my dad ended up wanting to get this, and we did, and it was also the first time I ever played Majora's Mask cause they had it set up to play, and I barely even knew what Zelda was at the time.
NHL Hitz 2002 or 2003 (GC/Xbox/PS2) are a must for you guys! It's 3 on 3 (w/ goalie as a 4th) fast paced over-the-top hitting and shooting. It is lawless hockey at it's most fun. Running guys through the glass and out of the rink doesn't get old.
I had to go back to pre-COVID Continue?episodes...as much as I love the current ones and the animations, I just need to remember a life where Nick, Paul, and Josh were on the same couch... Slight avoidance of downvote because we all know Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey is the best N64 hockey game.

I heard that the advertiser they partnered up with said they would get better revenue rates than on RUclips, but it wound up being a load of shit, so they kinda backed off putting their content on Normal Boots first. They'll still have it as a fall back if RUclips ever goes belly-up or bans gaming content altogether (which doesn't sound as ridiculous as it might have a year or two ago).
im really not that into hockey, soo i probably wouldnt willingly choose to play this game. i mean maybe. but again i really dont like hockey so lol. BUT that was a good year for the sport. abd that game is fucki g awesome very likeable game. smooth controls seems like beautiful colors and graphix. awesome . continue. i must say, you guys are on a streak of popular, well made, very likeable games. im definetly with it lol. ps2/n64 things of that nature are my jam. anyway thanks as always, josh is my favorite josh is the best
