Awesome COE Cabover SEMA Build ("Big Bertha")

- This bagged COE at SEMA 2018, built by Cobblestone Customs, really caught my eye and I wanted to make an awesome, complete build video for all of you to see & Enjoy!
This unique rig started out it's life as a 1955 GM 5400 COE body and was modified into a Firetruck for a small town in the Netherlands. 60 years later, the owner of Cobblestone Customs found the truck and knew he had to do something unique with it. After removing some of the original fire equipment and making this thing into a driveable piece of ratrod art & I gotta say I'm impressed. He named this truck "Big Bertha" and it was a show-stopper at SEMA 2018. It's got a Duramax Diesel & allison transmission. But one-off billet wheels and lots of other add-ons.
Hands down the most unique truck at the show, and the only one that I took any time to video. Hope you enjoyed the build story and that it may help motivate you to get to work on your project! He was part of the @Raticalrodbuildoffdriveoff he drove it to sema all the way from Baltimore. The drive off started in Lincoln Nebraska.

Any Tinmama update? Hope I will see on the road this year.
Haven't touched it in 2 months or so. But been slowly chipping away at some of the video editing. The video editing is such a huge job and so is building the car, so just going slow. Will be on the road by the end of summer for sure though

Doesn't look like you'd be able to turn it at all with those front wheels tucked in so tightly into the front fenders. Also I think I'd go with a pristine custom paint on the outside over the rusted, abused look. Just my taste & opinion.

I'd say that it was a pretty cool build but in my personal opinion I dont like the wheels nor the slammed look. And I kinda hope that the original firetruck build wasn't truly one of kind because if it was then it deserved being preserved in that state instead of being customized.
It's like a cheap replica build of the House of Kolour milk van. Not quite original....

Fake paint job was well done buy why? Why not make it look good with a nice paint job? Rust doesn't do it justice as far as I felt when I saw you go that way with it. I think you did a great job but ... well you can read what I believe. I don't think I'm alone on this.
