I can hear the announcers: "He steps back in the pocket....Knocks out 2 defenders.... Looking for his man, He's got time now.....Knocks out the corner with a clean left.... Finds his target..... TOCHDOWN!!!!"
I played against a guy in high school and ran against him in track, Tom Zbikowski Buffalo Grove, Illinois. He went on to be all-american at ND and became a professional boxer. Later, he played safety at the Ravens. Dude was good at every sport. Boxing makes you tough as nails. This kid here will be pro in something.
Boxing is a sport I always recommend for the off seasons. The footwork, hand eye coordination, and toughness you develop in the gym transfers really well into other sports.
Boxing helps in all sports ..SHOUTS to the PSU boxing club, 5 Star and Wanner. .helped a lot with my hoops... conditioning, focus, footwork... ABSOLUTELY translates..
Indeed it is helping the foot work translate not to mention torque he can generate from knowing how to throw a punch properly should help with his delivery accuracy
Honestly yes but not just because of the crossover in explosiveness, also just having more and more reps of taking impacts and continuing to perform will be very helpful
The boxing has definitely translated to his game that mental toughness & physical strength absorbing hits then punching is full body as well as throwing comes from the feet up
Boxing has a lot of rotational movement and for the position on a QB having great rotational strength and stability is definitely something you want in your bag
Great training for all skilled players. Fast hands, great core and body control gives a huge edge. Thought I was the only one seeing this kind of training.
Yes, I think it will. The footwork hip rotation follow thru is the same for boxing and football as it deals with throwing mechanics and punching mechanics.
Id argue that boxing helps quarterbacks the most. Certainly helps with precision, throwing power, throwing stamina, footwork, etc. Also overall endurance and mentality from boxing.
That clip of him running into the endzone was crazy! I don’t even think most running backs can take all those hits!
Fr
His career will be shorter than a midget if he keeps that up!
I mean he is from Brazilian

Those hits were crazy! He was getting hit from every direction 🤯

@@kjack3337 RIGHT 😆
He can throw the hardest stiff arm
Real
Derek Henry is gonna take notes.
Facts his stiff arm in about 3 years is probably going to be on sports center atleast 3 times 😂
His stiff arm is basically a punch 😂
bros gonna have 9 KO’s on his NFL stat sheet 😂😂😂😂
He can knock some dudes out on and off the field
lol, the best way to put it

I met his trainer once. He had a gym in Kenosha at one point. Said Tom was a pretty good boxer too. Tough
He was a dawg!
how does his piece taste?

This kid will have double CTE
No risk no reward
Nope rebuke dat!
Yea. Especially if he spars too hard. On the other hand, this QB can take the hits. Especially the upper body ones.
Jesus loves you ❤
i was just about to say this😭😭😭
This mans got the durability of a diamond
he is going to get injured if he runs like that in college or the NFL
His quixk footwork, thinking and hand speed are gonna make him a 1st rounder for sure
The footwork in boxing as shown in the video will help him stay consistent as a passer ssuming he a good decision maker.
Honestly with that training I’d love to see him play on the other side of the ball, dude would force so many fumbles as a safety.
And get this, he’s only 6 months old
🤣🤣
Not surprised Vitors kid is a killer
Naw!!! Vitor must be proud asl! 😂 Lil homie really doing good for himself! Hope to see him in the NFL teams and/or in the ring in a few years.
Boxing absolutely helps. His hand-eye, reflexes, and rate of decision-making are on a different level.
Boxing gives him that killer mentality, hell yeah it helps
That was 6 big hits and he was still standing😮
Honestly, I feel like the foot work translates HARDCORE. I bet he has a fucking cannon standing still that will develop further.
The last drill with the Medicine ball is some professional level exercise.
GREAT MIX. FOOTBALL AND BOXING!!
He is automatically one of my favorite cfb players now
That hit at the goal line was insane
Gotta keep my eye out for this kid, QB is about foot work, boxing foot work is next level
Nice I must follow this young man. A beast in the making 🙏
imagine a fight breaks out and you just see your qb dropping linebackers with a nasty 1-2
Definitely, the fact that he knows how to read, adjust, escape and twist hips from. BOXING stand point to transition into football is IMPECCABLE
This kids gonna be terrifying when he finds his dad's stache of TRT
Hes already dabbled in it
Boxing is a sport I always recommend for the off seasons. The footwork, hand eye coordination, and toughness you develop in the gym transfers really well into other sports.
Hearing vitor at the end was so heartwarming. Hope his son does well in college
He is tough no cap can't wait to see him in NFL
Go Hokies!!!! Glad we got him on board 🙌🏾
I love it. He gotta stop taking hits on the field but I love it. Let's goooooo
100% correct.
"Fighter mentality" will help him as a quarterback.
I wish him the best, he looks like he is dedicated to the sport
I think the footwork and the nuances of boxing will definitely help him……Can’t wait to watch him play….
That boxing gonna condition him to take hard hits 💪😤
Yes most definitely! I've always said I'd love for more football players to cross train with boxing. Can help with footwork so much.
Great. Now legends out here having kids with super powers.
Footwork gonna go crazy
Football is about to be a hobby for this guy. That footwork and hands look crazy good
The stamina he’s building through boxing is absurd this kid will be still going in the 4th quarter when everyone else is wheezing
His stiff arm gonna feel like the hardest jab when he run the ball, that's some crazy abilities to have
Real boxers will know that the torque that goes into a punch is what helps with that compact delivery. Plus his feet are gonna be crazy
That was impressive. Most of these shorts are not typically. This one though, he definitely doing his thang.
Dudes movement in the ring is quick and solid.
Just the hard, fast jabs are impressive, let alone everything else seen here. Nice 👍
His daddy was a friggin MONSTER!
Now that’s what u call a pure athlete that’s tough
He’s 5’10 that Mf will be doin celebrity boxing in 3yrs
Boxing helps in all sports ..SHOUTS to the PSU boxing club, 5 Star and Wanner. .helped a lot with my hoops... conditioning, focus, footwork... ABSOLUTELY translates..
No way you boxed for psu. One of
my friends boxing there right now, says the conditioning is crazy
Indeed it is helping the foot work translate not to mention torque he can generate from knowing how to throw a punch properly should help with his delivery accuracy
He’s the definition of a strong arm qb
Honestly yes but not just because of the crossover in explosiveness, also just having more and more reps of taking impacts and continuing to perform will be very helpful
Get your facts right , first Brazilian to get a power 5 (football) scholarship was Klaus Miyashiro.
you know your stuff
i said *power 5 football scholarship
@@theqbplug exactly power 5 football … just letting you know look it up yourself ..
You can’t bulldoze yourself like that in the NFL. You’ll wake up in the offseason.
CTE finna be crazy💀
The boxing has definitely translated to his game that mental toughness & physical strength absorbing hits then punching is full body as well as throwing comes from the feet up
i saw the clip of him scoring that touchdown on Instagram. the fact that he does martial arts makes perfect sense now.
Yeah, from what I see the mechanics work well together for training 💪
I think the defense will refrain from taking cheap shots once they find out that he’s a boxer.
Boxing has a lot of rotational movement and for the position on a QB having great rotational strength and stability is definitely something you want in your bag
Great training for all skilled players. Fast hands, great core and body control gives a huge edge. Thought I was the only one seeing this kind of training.
Oh wow..this is definitely a unique combination of skill...I'd like to see him in action..
Yes, I think it will. The footwork hip rotation follow thru is the same for boxing and football as it deals with throwing mechanics and punching mechanics.
My Gawd 😮!!!! On he's going to be a superstar
Talent right there
gotta make sure this belfort dude stays off the test😂😂
LeVitor had him when he was still on that balco. Kid's gonna be a menace.
Vitor had one of the baddest knock outs I've ever seen in MMA.
His arm speed has to be crazy with that ball
Footwork gon either confuse the hell out of him in the pocket or help him out tremendously
Of course it will boxing is a lot about body position, foot work and quick moves which will definitely help him!
That's dope, can't even lie lol💪🏾🤝🏽
That footwork gonna help em in the pocket crazy
After a few concussions he switch to a pocket passer and that mixed with boxing footwork gunna be amazing
No d-lineman trying to pick a fight with this guy lol
Yes it will you see how he ran through all those people it gives him an impact and to get some stronger
Bro his pocket awareness and footwork gonna be insane
If you look at elite boxer foot work and elite qb foot work, it’s lines up perfectly, it’s better than dance class from back in the day.
Id argue that boxing helps quarterbacks the most. Certainly helps with precision, throwing power, throwing stamina, footwork, etc. Also overall endurance and mentality from boxing.
Dam just like his dad tough..
That how you really throw a football like it’s a punch he will be a great Quarterback in the future
Ooh!!!! I like where this is going!!
Hands down yes. Boxing grit is something else. He won’t be a diva- and he’ll have massive balls. This guy is going to the league.
He’s already a diva
He's going to be a TANK!
It’ll definitely help with footwork and reflexes in general
Of course it will. If anything the reaction times and ability to adapt.
If he’s losing he’s gonna beat his teammates 💀🤣
Mans doing strengthening training through football
It will definitely help him with being a qb. The feetwork will be impeccable
He got quick feet from the boxing 🥊
Defenders going to be real careful with this guy lolol.
