Thanks for your video guide.
These smart printers are really fidgety. Too much trouble, I can't believe the hoops one has to pass through just to print. I still haven't figured out how to scan or photocopy with it yet (version: ET-2876).
My Internet source is via my phone wifi at the moment, which appears to disappear off the printer, therefore having to pass through gimmick trials to get the printer reconnected again.

I was sold this printer on the understanding that I could use a usb cable to connect to my laptop...(I have no home Wi-Fi)...it does have a usb labelled input on the side of the printer...is it possible to use that connection instead of wi-fi?
