I was at the concert, Pulse, Earls Court so yes I did see that guitar solo too, lol. It was not something you could ever forget. Friend of mine met Storm Thorgeson once.

For those who don't play, Hoda plays using multiple octave choices at her feet and is in control of two machines at once. She also has to bring the risen octaves back to normal tuning, knowing where the fingers get placed even when the tuning has changed. This young lady will make the best session guitarist or even solo lead I have heard in years. This looks easy as it is slow, but I can tell you this is a killer solo for any guitar's mind to grasp all the bends upward and downwards. I still use this piece to practice. It takes a lot more than Hoda's video to see the sweat that actually goes into this level of quality. I'm 52 years old, a musician who can clearly tell. Let's see if this young lady can do what fits her playing style, Eric Clapton's 'Behind the Mask' is very similar to a soft solo yet punchier, with a clearer purpose and end than Floyd.

As someone who has played this song before , I know how hard it is to get it right. The phrasing , spacing , use of the trem and whammy bar is just on another level for this song. To me this is much harder to get right than any other fast metal song. Seeing you do such good justice to this masterpiece just warms my heart. Well done!! Forza
