  • The Kia EV6 is an electric crossover offered with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. We took the EV6 all-wheel drive on a day-long drive across different road conditions, including highways, city roads, village roads and multiple inclines to get a healthy combination for the drive route. This is not a hypermiling run nor are we forcing the EV6 to run out of charge as quickly as possible.

Definitely interesting. 500km/ charge is a good threshold that can easily convert an ICE person to EV. Perhaps the day a budget EV like the nexon max crosses 500 km real world range will be the infliction point for EVs in India. The only question I'd have is what is this increased strain on electricity demand going to do to electricity prices? And is it possible we see some new taxes on these fast chargers

If running expense went at par or slightly less than petrol car even then people won't switch because they have already paid the EV price premium. So the only option that will be left will be slow 10-12 hour charging for that 200-250Km range. And because BJPee goormint likes to suck every bit of money from people, they might bring new law of separate unit rates for EV charging.

It will be cheaper if you charge at home.....but for how long will those rates exists? Can't see a future where we will still have access to the relatively cheaper rates for home charging nor do I see our electricity grid having enough capacity to serve lacs of ev motorists.
Strong hybrids are the future. The gormint needs to get its head out of their collective 🍑🍑 and reduce the ludicrous duties on strong hybrids.

EVs are just so gay! Driving isn't merely about reaching the destination but also to enjoy the journey for many. Sorry but no thanks
