  • Just make sure this is done in the dark! You can use this method for using I-type in older vintage sx-70 or 600 cameras.
    You need:
    -Clean oil free gloves
    -A dark room/closet
-A used but still good 600/sx-70 film cartridge
-An old vintage camera that takes sx-70 or 600 film
-An ND filter (if using 600 film in an unconverted sx-70 camera)
    -Lots and lots of patience

Cheers bro, legend (edit: no, like seriously, thank you for this video so much, and actually going into the details and slight intricacies of how you do it!)

A-ha, thank you! I actually hate the way I sound and just felt like this would be helpful. I didn't really rehearse anything, kind of a spur of the moment thing before work so I kinda tripped over my words a lot and repeated myself a couple times. I do really appreciate the kind words my man! You made my whole week!

If you have a plastic box camera, all you need to do is stick the battery from a SX-70/600 cart underneath the i-type cart and because the plastic has more give, it’ll still fit although tight. Does work though.

I've seen people do this, and while it does work if done right, I just worry about the cartridge catching or damaging something inside the camera. Good point though!
