Definitely helpful. I have aphantasia and, as such; can't "visualize" literally anything at all. So having physical notes I can read, on top of the video itself is a boon.
On top of chapters in the vid, the notes help keep track of all the stuff in video, instead of just trying to remember all the changes once you're through, i like the notes
I absolutely love the notes. I have a hard time really taking in knowledge from audio and while subtitles can mostly cover having the clear written notes to the side made me take away 100% more from this then I would otherwise.
Unwavering Vision can be rushed in early atlas progression to kickstart your mapping strategies as well. For example, if you want to farm Jun you can path through the +40% chance to spawn start, start pathing straight up, take a right at Cryptic Gateway, and path to UV via the right side of the tree (puts you closest to the of the Jun nodes), and then after 22 maps completed, you get a massive spike in Atlas Tree power where you can spec into all the remaining Jun nodes with 2 points to spare. That's just an example of course--there are tons of options. You can reach it in as few as 19 points technically, but I think pathing towards it strategically will yield a nice burst of farming power very early.
As far as Crystal Resonance goes, I definitely don't read it the same way: "A map boss" is important, since that means Destructive Play it shouldn't effect all bosses. Not relevant to what I read differently than you, but an interesting note. "A random Essence Modifier from any Imprisoned Monsters" is also important. Sentence starts as a singular focus about a multiple focus subject later in the sentence. It implies that no matter how many essence monsters you kill, it will gain a total of 1 modifier. Example: It doesn't read, "A random Essence Modifier from EACH Imprisoned Monster" This would imply multiple modifiers if you kill multiple monsters.
Agree. The way it is written gives the boss a single essence that can be chosen from the pool of essence monster you killed. It also doesn’t give it the HIGHEST level. So you could get lots of wailing essences.
Also on the same page with this one. I'd be very surprised if the take in the video ended up being correct; honestly not sure where that interpretation came from.
So ur saying each time you slay an essence mob, the mod rerolls? Sounds kinda random to not just assign a mod from the very start. The second line is also fishy; if slamming a remnant merely duplicates one of the essences, does that mean you can no longer get corrupted essences if you pick the node?
Hello, I know your Fire Trap of Blasting is not really finalized. You think you will post another video on it? Or is it safe to follow your previous video? Thanks.
Multiple Atlas Trees is such a thoughtful addition and at the 50-map mark. I was burning out on my Betrayal Harvest tree and just then I unlocked my extra trees. Blighted Einhar was my immediate next one just to have a switchup
Something to note from around 7:20 is that voidstones won't be giving increased map equity anymore, they will be giving 0.5% chance for EACH socketed voidstone for maps to be converted to t17, giving you a total of an 8% chance for maps to get converted with all 4 in
very important to the 15:29 wisp part, unless you really like to full clear maps even line maps like strand or beach it's hard to always get below 50 remaining monsters, theres always that one pack thats slightly away or that one struggler that you don't really go back for. at least in my zoomer test with a semi reasonable aoe build it was below 50 in 3/12 maps without me spending way more extra time to find the last pack
7:20 Weren't they supposed to change what the void stones does? like increase chance to get tier 17 maps? or did I misunderstand and it's simply an extra effect they get?
I like the scarab overall and removing sextants, but they didn’t give us more map fragment slots to fully make up for the loss of total mods we had with 4 sextants. Yes, increased chance for content on the atlas helps, but in my opinion we’d need at least 2 more slots to make up the loss of sextants. It’s an overall nerf to map juicing. Let’s take a legion farming strategy as an example. Before I would do legion + harby on atlas and scarabs be legion, harby, divs, Niko/carto, and for sextants I’d have legion, harby, pack size, sacred grove / beyond. I could consistently get 4 legion spires, many harbys + harby boss, a good amount of the Fortunate cards and extra dmg from Niko. Now, I can only get 3 legion spires max and maybe half of what I listed above. And with all that juice, I over sustained my maps. Not as confident about that now unless I use a carto scarab, which takes away another slot from something else.
I think we have to wait to see what the scarabs do. What if the top "tier" legion scarab is something like "adds an additional legion encounter for every different legion scarab used"
"Less common variety" most likely means roll twice, pick less common option. It's been used as a "lucky" keyword in the context of loot generation before. Same text is present on Natural Selection atlas node. Less common not being always worth more is a valid point tho.
With wandering path gone, do you have any tips on map sustain or bulding up a stockpile of good maps? After I complete the atlas, I always struggle a bit getting the maps I want for my farming strategy. And running t16-t14 trash maps always feels terrible
What do you think about ritual? Im wondering if its worth getting the monsters from the league mechanic to keep respawning. I also think it's insane you can get 70% chance for sacred grove in a single 4 point wheel lol juice is going to be real cheap if i had to guess
In one of the small snipest of the Trailer you could see a aditional Atlas Tree unlock. However I forgot what exactly was the content that did so. I remember Catarina, but it might have been a T17 Map as well.
Hey man, love the video! Do you plan on making your explosive trap of sharpnel video soon? I saw your burning trap of blasting video and im torn between which one is better on league start and scaling into ubers.
I just want to farm raw currency and not need to trade much. Looking at sanctum or delve. Now for a build. Hear CA/TR PF is bad for Sanctum and the opposite is said for LA DE. Might try Spectres (start with SRS).
not having wandering path greatly reduces how hard you can juice your maps with 2% increased effect of map modifiers (before this scaled to 60% but now its just 30%) but also mean end game mapping is going to be much less challenging than in affliction league.
There are actual modifier effect wheels around the tree now as well as a keystone that gives you 0-80% MORE map modifier effect. You can reach way more modifier effect now than you could with WP.
I don't really like Master's mission removal because previously I could save up for example Nico missions for when I'm ready to do delve and then spec for an increased quantity of sulphite to get the most out of them. Now when getting it randomly you would fill up your storage and it's wasteful. Same for other content: 4 incursions for Alva, additional rank for Jun etc. Maybe it's alright if you're only gonna do one Master...
you get extra essences from boss, seems kinda meh, also the other line which converts essences to 1 type seems total waste, u're basically spending currency for an equal chance to lose or gain value, so on average there's no benefit but u're spending currency, makes no sense.
Yeah it means you will brick your map for no upside. Boss will be impossible to deafeat, unless you are already playing with a build worth hundreds of divines.
Im going Incinerate of Venting Jugg, going to get the new helm and steal the triple rage effect from Zerker. Also, will be awesome to start at the same time as y'all PC gamers ❤
Hope they incresses the guardiand drops or facilitate the invitation from the other pinnacle... since the best lots are not gated by those... 28 maps per one searing... could be 24 hehe
You mention smth about good sustain after obtain 2 stones, but : Voidstones each now provide "Tier 16 Maps dropped in Areas have 0.5% chance to become a Tier 17 Map for each Socketed Voidstone". I dont think its additive property
They saw essences were easy to farm and said "nah bruh, let's spice things up". Crystal Resonance may not be ideal for characters who can't nuke enemies. But it may produce some serious gains in the currency department if you pick the right mob to corrupt and it replacecs a particularly valuable essence. Risk/reward is high AF with Crystal Resonance as far as I can tell. Personally I don't think i'll spec into that until I have a decently built character. Some of those tier 7 essence mobs hit hard AF un an undergeared toon.
My thoughts on this are that there are going to be really strong Essence scarabs that replace the old low-tier essence strat. I actually like the idea of farming Essences in high tier maps as it is more impactful (t5 maps get boring after a while).
@@FalsePrelate Yeap. On the other hand, it makes essence a bit less farming less profitable early league before you get to higher tier maps. Some people take likes week to hit red maps lol. It’ll still be ok I think. Essences are simple to run.I like simple.
It would make no sense for remnant of corruption to work the way you thought, because in that case it will not change your average gains in any way whatsoever - would be no reason to use them. I think it will instead duplicate the chosen essence across other essence mosters. This way it'd make sense to do that. But It'll require backtracking which might be unpleasant.
This league will be a lot less reliant on TFT usage because sextants and compasses are gone. You still want to use their bulk selling tool to sell scarabs and essences because of how many types are there and how clunky it is to get rid of them all using standard trade methods. But i really like a huge reduction to the amount of micro-management needed to just run my maps. 3 atlas skill trees are propably the most impactful change to me, as I like to swap strategies often. I'm not one of those guys that buys 1,000 crimson temples and grinds them for a week straight. That would make me quit the game very very quickly. Speaking of crimson temple, I no longer have to grind this stupid map for apothecary. I can use that new divination scarab and simply favorite that map.
I'm kind of annoyed that Heist got zero changes to the %chance. Unlike pretty much every other mechanic you can still only get a +40% chance to have a Smuggler's Cache even if you get every Heist node.
I tend to write notes about most topics like this, let me know if you like this format where I keep the notes on screen!

Yes before you have enough scarabs to use or enough currency to buy them right?
Or at least until then
@@ak_getright9905 I figure I'll keep this node until I unlock the second Atlas tree at the very least.

Hello, any information what will happen to Sanctum due to removal of sextants?
I am curious of what you think of the Necropolis nodes cluster.
Do we satill get wisps?
Investing into scarabs you want + blocking mechanics which blocks their scarab = trading minimised heavily
How do Kirac missions work now?
So will we have a blank slate for free for 2 extras or will we have to spend orbs to use the 2nd and 3rd sheet?
Scarab and Betrayal are number 1 farming targets now.
Betrayal can give scarabs and also the veiled orbs.
Is there any use of, like I'm delving, get the niko points? Even with 104% it does not guarantee the appearance of Niko.
Isn't sacarbs better?
This is an eye-opening and informative video. Thank you!
I think Cartography scarabs will have a bit more power to compensate for the lack of map duplication nodes on the tree.
