  • The T-800 Endoarm was my very first 3d print i ever made and it came out quite ok for not having a clue about printing in 3 dimensions.
This was years ago and you have seen this prop in many of my videos, mostly hanging out in the background until one day… Judgement Day!
Well here is the short story.
The T2 Endo arm was displayed on one of my shelfs for months until one morning when i came to my cave it was laying on the ground shattered in pieces.
I gathered all the parts and put them into a box for fixing later. That same day i saw a post on a Terminator fan page on facebook that it was Judgement day! At least in the movie, we had the 29th of August. Strange coincidents happen apparently and i did not know to laugh about it or beeing creeped out…
However this week i glued everything back together and designed a stand for it including led lighting.
The stand prints in 3 pieces and gets glued together, i used 4 3500 deg. Kelvin leds, a piece of 8mm led tape, 4 200 ohm resistors, an old USB lead and an Ikea glass Vase as cylinder.
The files will be free to download on my webpage soon!
I hope you enjoy this for once portrait shot video.

    Oh very nice!
The label transfer is something I've not seen before, works well.
I know it's a little late now, but you can get tiny lens for 5050 LED chips which are good for concentrating the output.

I bought this transfer foil quite recently, it works pretty well but loves to crinkle when drying. I added a clear piece of acryllic to hold it down and filled the gap with uv curing resin. You know what, that brings me to the idea that i have a whole bag of lenses somewhere that i once found at a Goodwill outlet. I will try if it may focus the beams a bit more and light up the fingers.
