    Jen, I just found you & this gorgeous tutorial ... I wanted to share a tip with you that I know will help. If you want to camouflage the styro underneath without having to buy a gazzilion teeny ornaments, or stuff the holes with small pine cones or bits of tinsel, simply PRE-WRAP your foam form with a shiny satin finish ribbon that matches the majority of your ornaments. Then if there are small holes, it will not be as noticeable. Also, if you place the outside ring first, and the inner ring second, then alternating the open top portion with 2 different size balls will minimize your purchase. Your color selection is inspiring and your demonstration very clear. Thank you.

    I am so excited for Christmas and have been wanting to make a jewel tone ornament wreath so bad but couldn't find a good tutorial until I watched yours. I love how it turned out and so worth $30. I went on eBay and believe it or not, I found some that were over $200. Thank you so much for the tutorial and I look forward to your upcoming videos for the holidays :)

    I made a jewel toned wreath like this, except I used all the funky ornaments., Not just the round ones. And I didn't line them up all orderly. But filled in the gaps randomly as I went. I also used the flat foam wreath, and it gave me a sturdier surface to glue to. Yours is gorgeous ☺️ and the only tip I would give , is to spray paint the foam wreath one of your ornament colors, or close to the color. The white showing through isn't a terrible thing, but the ones I painted the foam wreath vs not, looked a lot more polished and finished. But just be careful to lightly spray paint the foam, and if you need to fill in spots, wait til it dries some and then spray it again. I got heavy handed on the spray paint and it kind of melts if you stay in one place spraying, slathering the paint on...🙄
    I also hit the after Christmas sales and bought up ornaments cheap. May not have the selection you did before Christmas, but it takes a $40.00 wreath down to about $10.00. Thanks for all the great ideas!!

    The hanger - as a Floral Designer, I must comment on this - in an effort to avoid all your creative work suffering a fall - "glue it, but use a floral pin to secure it by sticking through the ribbon" (2 cents) it you don't have a floral pin use a piece of wire bent like a hair pen or even a drywall nail.
    DONT RISK THE WIND or DOOR MOVEMENT CAUSING AN ACCIDENT -

      @bethbartlett5692 7 лет назад +1

      Definitely, if made by this recipe, use indoors only.
      The wreath. is pretty - but the outdoor placement could cause damage.
      Great creative outcome -

    💁 for your extra ornaments the dollar tree has the Styrofoam Christmas tree shape and you could make a Christmas tree that matches your wreath

    FYI .... I spray paint my wreath form one of the colors I'm using in the ornaments before gluing them on. It seriously cuts down those glaring empty spots so you don't have to use quite as many small or tiny ornaments to make sure nothing bright white ( or green , etc ) is peeking through.

      Love it and the exact Info on the #of ornments, size or ornaments, store, SKUs,and #of packages shown!! But, I would just wrap the whole thing in that ribbon,and secure the hanger with a floral pin.
