The monarchy is indeed a cash cow but only for the royal family and their cronies and that's all. And the taxpayers en up footing the bill, as usual.

For those of you who are so critical of the Royal Family and the Monarchy do you realize how much money they bring into the economy. The Coronation alone brought in billions. Be grateful if who you have it could be a lot worse. Would you prefer Joe Biden? I am Canadian and I love your Royal Family except the traitors across the pond.
I woke up at 4:00am to watch the Coronation it was magnificent only you in the UK could do something like that. The people who came out in the rain some days before it was awesome. I wish I was there. You are so lucky. Things are not perfect in the world and I know there is hardship for some but the king has given back profits made to be used by the government to help the less fortunate with heating. I love the good people of the UK. God Bless you all.

Once again, the police escort for one of these entitled parasites very nearly killed an innocent pedestrian when he crashed into an 80 year old woman now in the hospital between life and death. The police motorcyclist who mowed her down was escorting the so-called Duchess of Edinburgh (no one even knows who the hell she is) on what was, needless to say, no emergency at all...
I think it might also have been one of the rising bollards / ramps
