    Hello sir,
    I am an IMG from india.
    What I want to know is that,according to USA,in view of usmle,after completing the steps1,2 and 3,and getting ECFMG certified,they told that the steps are valid only for 7 years.Now in case of alternate pathway,which you have been suggesting for IMGs,can they apply after 7 yrs of ECFMG certification for job offers in USA.

    • @IMGSecrets
      @IMGSecrets  22 дня назад

      That is not what those 7 years mean. Yes you can apply if you think you qualify and can come up with a strong application

    Hi Dr,
    I am an Anesthesiologist with 2 years experience as specialist from Pakistan. Your videos are amazing with great information. I have few questions:-
    1. How competitive is getting into clinical fellowship in Canada and what is the success rate of IMGs acceptance in Anesthesia fellowship program each year in Canada?
    2. Are fellowships paid by the hospital and fellows get salaries? Because its impossible to arrange funding.
    Pl do answer clearly if possible.

      Anesthesia fellowships are competitive. Many IMGs get in every year and when we guide IMGs, we help them find and apply where the IMGs get paid

    Hi dr, i am doing my plastic surgery residency here in india. Is there any chance for me to get into US medical system without giving usmles in any state of US??
    If not,
    I heard matching into plastic surgery is very difficult in usa , does my indian plastic surgery residency puts me on top place from other applicants to match into ??
    Or is there any other country where i can be directly or easily be a plastic surgeon with my indian plastic surgery residency like canada, austarlia, UK, or ...??
    Please let me know dr

      With our knowing your entire background it’s not possible to comment about USMLE requirements. If you are thinking of applying for a match, yes Indian PG would be considered as a good clinical experience. More importantly, strong application helps

    Hello Doctor , most of clinical fellowships I applied in Ontario and BC need govt funding for fellowship. Can u please guide any hospital with paid fellowships.

    • @IMGSecrets
      @IMGSecrets  23 дня назад

      Almost all the universities have a paid fellowship. It depends on your specialization. When we guide IMGs we always work with them towards these paid fellowships

    Sir I am Currently preparing for Indian PG exam. Which field should I choose so that in future when I apply for Canada Clinical Fellowship I have better chance of acceptance & can I apply right after ai graduate from PG. Thanks.

    • @IMGSecrets
      @IMGSecrets  12 часов назад

      In general medical fields like pediatrics, medicine, pathology have more IMGs. Competitive specialties are anesthesia, dermatology, radiology, surgical specialties.
      Your approach should be based on consideration on multiple factors and not just fellowship in Canada
