SHOT SHOW....LOL love it. I have a C2 and was thinking it would have been nice for my shotgun but mounting was impossible...I eat my words with humble pie now, thank you Aimpoint for taking more of my money
This is cool, maybe for a tactical shotgun.I don’t think you can beat just a gold bead for wing shooting, maybe the housing will disappear in you’re vision, but seams like it take a while to get used too after shooting regular shotgun for long time.
@@indoorkite651 Yes. People have been mounting their optics to shotguns for a long time. You’ve got guys with Bushnell TRS 25’s that have been running those for 10-13 years. Or whenever those were released back in the day. All I mean is, you’ve got a ton of brands of budget red dots that hold up to long term shotgun use just fine. So, I’m just curious as to why the casing is so thick.
I tried to use a “tube” red dot for pigeon shooting once and didn’t work all that well. Open red dots are much more effective with shotguns in my experience.
It might work in time, but that's still a blocky object covering your FOV on a fast moving target and it doesn't quite give you the feeling of leading or "trapping" a target when you're shooting at something moving. A rib and a bright front bead to me is still better for shotguns.
What's with all the GIANTS doing the demo's? We need Hop doing these interviews so the Euro's look like normal heights. JJR is a bit taller than me and he looks like a child with some of these promoters. I say let's give HOP a European Vacation to IWA!!
They are too happy, it will be a point where they will be supporting Copilot. I was waiting for this. WHen Off design centers were the rage, not they will be obsolete.
Red dot for clay shooting? Absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary, and potentially detrimental to getting a good gun fit. Now if you're shooting and hunting with slugs, that's a different story.
Agreed, people that cant use a bead are the kind of people that secretly enjoy it when they wipe and their finger accidentally pokes through the toilet paper.

There is AimPoint, then there is everything else. My boy Larry V. Said it right.
Do they make a pic rail mount?
How is it possible that optic walls seem to be getting thicker and thicker….thing looks like a block with a tiny view port in it.
Durability
@@borkwoof696 just seems like there hasn’t been any durability issues with enclosed dots that are half as thick.
@@JimYeats have those optics been mounted to the barrel of a shotgun? might have something to do with it

Pretty cool, the housing would get in the way of the clay or bird though I think
Yes it would. Be great for turkey hunting though. Although you dont need something this bling for a turkey optic
How so? Just keep both yes open like any other clay shooter and there’s no issue.
TGS in the UK has some reviews on it and it looks really promising for sporting.
I have a truglo rib mount. I then mount a Vortex Venom on it. Works pretty good. Use it on my Beretta 1301 comp

Will it yeet into the next time zone when I attach it to my long recoil fudd-tac Auto 5 though?
My first thought
The Auto 5 isn't a fudd gun. That design transcends mere mortals like us. It always has been, is, and will always be the vibe stick
