I had adopt a steet dog pupy now she 3 years old. Gentle playful for all in our neighbour but aggressive for outsider she looks like a mide size black GSD ❤
I had a Great Pyrenees who was a gentle dog but, who was exceptionally formidable when she was guarding our home or property. There is no way that an intruder would try to get past her.
In my 52 years I have owned a boxer/German Shepherd and now have a American Bulldog and all three of my dogs have been excellent guard dog’s I treat all my dogs like they are my furry sons but my American bulldog is a rescue dog the first time I have owned a rescue dog it is like he knows we saved him the love he shows me and my family is extra special Absolutely best breed of dog I have ever owned
Maybe for you, but criminals who spent a lot of time in the gym [or Mac Donalds] are not so impressed, the Malinois is a lightweight, 50 pounds at most. I prefer Cane Corso and the Boerboel wich i owned and ow today.
I agree some what as they are blood lines that tend to be better. But in the USA no one really understand a working breed and a working dog bloodline. The USA government and police know all about this, as they pay upwards of 250,000 for a trained dog. And a bit more that half of that for a puppy.
They look intimidating and have a reputation. That's enough 90% of the time, and your insurance prefers it if your dog isn't actually a trained guard dog.
@@Autistic_Changeling yeah I'm just addressing the narrator as he stated that they're good guardians, which isn't true. I'm in the UK so our insurance doesn't work like that, but I'm not sure why that would be the case, that's far more dangerous and unpredictable than a trained protection dog.
Dude seriously while dobermans are good they are a lightweight compared to a Ridgeback . Rotties are too fat n slow as a comparison and can’t jump for crap . Even the Dogo Argentina were used for boars let’s contrast that to a Ridgeback taking down a Lion enough said
I'm surprised the Akita isn't on here, loyal and very protective!

Dogo Argentina is simply the best
GSD by far number 1 when proper trained.
100% agreed not having the GSD on the list is crazy. Should be ranked number one or two at least.
French bulldog is an excellent guard dog, especially when they are backed up by a 120lb Rottweiler
Or a malinois
I’ve got a jack Russel, she’s a lovely dog but given the chance she would fight a tiger in a dustbin, she doesn’t realise she’s only tiny
I like the Doberman they are best
GSD is the king of the canine world.
Nope that’s cane corso!
@leeroyjenkins9992 cane corso is the new xl bully. Will be banned soon.
@ they ain’t taking mine away without bloodshed
I had 242lb great Pyrenees named BadDog. He would kill anything that came into his territory. He was a big marshmallow off his his property.
❤
Definitely the Malanois 😊

GSD dog is better than pretty much all those dogs on your list and you ain’t even got it on there? The GSD is number one or number two.
As the only dog bread for personal protection and by far the smartest on your list the doberman should come in at 1 or 2 not number 10
@@keithshelby6914 not the smartest breed there, best thing is thing is they aren't even the best protection dog out of them all.
@@jhaychI’ve owned 4 different breeds in this list and nun of them beat the Doberman. I don’t think I’ll ever buy another breed after

Pitbulls aren't a guardian breed, shocking guard dog. Dobermans are also overrated.

German Doberman's are a different breed they are a lot tougher than the frail American Doberman's.
