With a new bumper and proper bump stopping could you fit a 37 . I have 35s with no lift and stock wheels so their offset and b.s. clear with no running besides full lock on the upper arm. My use of the truck is strictly for looks while towing my built trail rig . I've owned this 08 for 10 years it only tows my Jeep and sits a lot and I'm just looking to freshen up the look since I'm not looking to spend 60k again for a truck I hardly use but am kinda bored with it after 10 years . I plan a basic lift with new adjustable arms, track bar , upgrade steering , winch bumper ,new wheels , and 37s with new 4:56 gears and some other stuff... just want it to look tough hauling the crawler on the new trailer I just built. Lol... it's Right at the limit for 20amp fuse for the park lights I copied the bull hauler look with lights .
Time to order some shirts before our local diesel event here in TN. The trucks are looking killer man keep it up me and my 4 year old watch your videos everyday before I go to work. After every video he tells me we need to go work on my truck lol
I used to get first comment, but now there are so many people subscribed that there are 2-5 comments before I get there. But great job Greg! That just mean views, comments, subscribers! More money for more content!
Steering dampeners are not designed to expand or retract on their own (if so, single setups would pull the wheel in/out). They are meant to dampen road caused input, and stiffen steering wheel output. The harder shock into the dampener, the more dampening.
I believe the "drain hole" is actually a spring alignment locator for the end of the spring. (6 years experience at a Dodge dealer and 9 years prototype tech for Ford's) love the videos, keep em coming!
I’ve got the Carli add a packs on my second gen with the whole Carli starter kit with their control arms and the change it made to the truck is incredible. I’d love to upgrade the shocks to something more responsive eventually but for now the 5100s are perfect. It made it a whole new truck.
The 08 and the dually look absolutely awesome!!!! Your going to have to look into the same size spacer to put between the airbags as you did lift in the rear
If you go with the thuren long travel leafs, it will center your axle in the wheel well and you will need to redo your traction bars. I have the lt leafs installed and they are awesome. Just a friendly FYI.
Awesome awesome video Greg A, man oh man what a difference on the 08 it looks so mean now can’t wait to see it finished and on a test drive and all the other future content to come.
Now that I got a steady paycheck flowing in definitely gonna have to start buying some wrenchworkz gear! The truck also looks good but IMO you should go down to a 20" inch wheels to give more sidewall and more of that tough look.
The full Deaver leafs make a really noticeable difference. Even before I went big on shocks, they gave the truck that smoothed out ride that you get when you've got some weight in the bed.
I wonder how much you’ll have to trim for the 35s on 12 wides to clear with only the 3 inch lift? I love the look and if they fit good I’ll be doing the same lift/tires
Hey Greg, you ever consider the mini leaf pack add a leaf kit that replaces the 3 spacer leaves and the overload leaf? I'm gonna do them on my truck this winter. Probably gonna get the Carli kit, not sure if Thuren makes em too
Love the video greg! Lol you sound like me when i do anything to my truck “oh yeah.... oooh yeaaahhhh” haha. I could change my antenna from the stock to a stubby and id still stand back and admire it😂
Greg with the 08 can’t you just put the OEM spacers back in? The reverse level you did this would be the reverse level delete lol looks sick. You will love the tires I have been running them on my 07 for over a year great tire! Love the content keep it coming.
🤙🏻 Greg A the 08 is looking awesome. Just think if you'd went with a 7-8" lift and running 40" now you're talking Beast I had a 1985 Chevy short bed with 9" lift running 39" Super Swamper TSL SXs on 12" wide wheels and it look so awesome the cops wouldn't even write me for it being to high or tires being to wide and I ran an illegal exhaust
I noticed you got the control arms with your setup. What made you decide to get those when the site said it was not needed. I have a 3rd gen long bed with the same tire setup. Thanks.
At first I told myself no i cant buy anymore because i already have too much of your clothes...and then....you started mentioned the giveaway....I'm all in 😂😂🤑
Greg please post your opinion on the Nitto ridge grapplers handling noise traction not worried about longevity just want an honest opinion as I’m looking to go from trail graps to ridge graps
Ur merch is dope Greg! Been subbed since the beginning intro/south bend install I just don’t understand how U only have 134k subs u should be half a million let’s go folks get this man subscriptions up!
You should put some miles on it before messing with the rear. Your new springs will settle some. I don't know if the camera is jacking with it but it doesn't look bad at all right now.
K now this has me curious... I got an 03 with 20x10 wheels, tires 35x12.5 -44 offset. I'm currently sitting on a 6" lift but would love to go down to a 3" again... this video just gave me hope... but I dont know if it's to little lift... any ideas are helpful

I used to get first comment, but now there are so many people subscribed that there are 2-5 comments before I get there. But great job Greg! That just mean views, comments, subscribers! More money for more content!
Thank god greg is falling in love with lifts!!!!
Good to see you back in the lifted life ;)
Hey greg, the steering damper isn't supposed to retract, In case u just forgot. If they did, it would pull your steering to one side
jacob creecy I was gonna say the same thing
jayden b same
I was about to say the same also!
Gotta love the new setup on the Greg_a work truck, dig the jades with the new tires. Insert heart here 🙂

The 08 looks perfect! Love your channel! Keep the videos coming!
That diesel can shirt looks awesome!

It looks really good ! Thuren is one of the best Suspension builder 💪
Omg you have to do a Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 flag hoodie! That Canada hoodie is so badass Greg.!
Well there goes my next paycheck.. love the new merch!
When lifted, does the front and rear end need to be rebuilt in order to protect the transmission?
The 08 looks amazing! I find the land yacht trucks need bigger wheels to look proportionate, you definitely accomplished that.
defiantly need to do a walk around of the 08 once you get the rear end sitting where you want it, looks great Greg
Money in wallet delete after Tuesday
Why not use some rod protection 🤣 for the shocks since there not cheap
If you go with the thuren long travel leafs, it will center your axle in the wheel well and you will need to redo your traction bars. I have the lt leafs installed and they are awesome. Just a friendly FYI.
My goodness. It’s just so different😱 i love it! And I love the channel man!
Have you seen Gail Banks's videos on aftermarket diff covers?
What do you bet he'll get the banks diff cover when it comes out?
Awesome awesome video Greg A, man oh man what a difference on the 08 it looks so mean now can’t wait to see it finished and on a test drive and all the other future content to come.
I have a 2.5 lift and 35x13 and I clear with no rubbing
New tires look soooo good Greg!!!
I was just wondering if u would recommend the firestone tyres.
If you are sticking with factory dimension rubber,I've found the tforce ride well are priced well, and if ya crossing a pass it's chains or nothing lol
The thumbnail. That truck just went from eh.. to DAAAMMNN !!! 🔥🔥👍👍👌👌axle dump???
#TEAMNOCHROME
Tuff is definitely the word!!!!!!!!
Truck looks amazing!!

Greg what control arms are those? Thuren? I want to do a leveling kit on my truck with 33’s but don’t want the axel to be pushed back.
That 08 looks awesome Greg
Love the video greg! Lol you sound like me when i do anything to my truck “oh yeah.... oooh yeaaahhhh” haha. I could change my antenna from the stock to a stubby and id still stand back and admire it😂
Haha, I'm same way. Everytime I get out of my truck I have to give it a look back!
truck looks great. i have the same 3'' thuren kit on my 06
You the man Greg A
Dude that 08 is awesome. My dually is going that route next summer. Even though its 2wd.
I have thuren soft ride leafs very nice ride can't carry as much cargo being a lighter spring but speed bumps at 45 no problem
Greg with the 08 can’t you just put the OEM spacers back in? The reverse level you did this would be the reverse level delete lol looks sick. You will love the tires I have been running them on my 07 for over a year great tire! Love the content keep it coming.
Looks awesome. Fits those wheel wells awesome
What brand lift did you go with Greg?
the front springs will settle a bit hit some good bumps and put 60 miles on it then remeasure
What program is is mike running in his white truck that let's him see his gushes on his uconnect screan?
It doesn't matter what you drive if this beast pulls up behind you you'd have no choice but to pull over!
Love the trucks love the videos , thanks alot greg . Will be getting more shirts tomorrow. I'd say find a way to drop the 05 more an inch or two .
😍😍 oh my that thing looks so good with them 35s
I noticed you got the control arms with your setup. What made you decide to get those when the site said it was not needed. I have a 3rd gen long bed with the same tire setup. Thanks.

The 08 looks mean! Well, it looked mean before but now it looks killer man! Keep the great vids coming!
Looks absolutely killer! 08 still killin it!
With that 3-in kit you got 20 by 12 rims and on 35s does it rub on the back fender
Good looking truck buddy.
I know what I'm doing with mine now 😆
What are the dimensions on the wheel's? Looks great!
Great video! Truck looks great. Love the shirts.
Where do you get the rear fender liner? I've been searing for them for years for my 3rd Gen... Any hook ups?
At first I told myself no i cant buy anymore because i already have too much of your clothes...and then....you started mentioned the giveaway....I'm all in 😂😂🤑
Greg A try lkq, or keystone they might have them
Can you do some blaze/safety orange with black logo and flag in t shirts or hoodies

Nice job! Just about to complete this with thuren king 2.5s and a full deaver pack.
Question: what did you do to black out the oem headlights?
How long did it take you to install the full front and rear lift? Looks awesome!
Ur merch is dope Greg! Been subbed since the beginning intro/south bend install I just don’t understand how U only have 134k subs u should be half a million let’s go folks get this man subscriptions up!

I always wanted a BD lift kit but the way the Thuren kit looks I may have to re think what lift kit i want
I like that red , white , and blue shirt. Gonna have to get one. Nice work on the 08 too.
Now it's time for the first gen to be slammed
You’re the bomb Greg!
She looks good! Needs some color matched flares to help keep her clean over the winter!!
You should put some miles on it before messing with the rear. Your new springs will settle some. I don't know if the camera is jacking with it but it doesn't look bad at all right now.
Greg just wondering when the 08 is going to get a headache rack. Keep up the vids
K now this has me curious... I got an 03 with 20x10 wheels, tires 35x12.5 -44 offset. I'm currently sitting on a 6" lift but would love to go down to a 3" again... this video just gave me hope... but I dont know if it's to little lift... any ideas are helpful
I’m pretty sure I was just as excited when I seen the 08 hahaha
what tires are those? That looks so sick.
So with the lift in the back is that going to do something to your air bags?
You are the best!
