Plan on doing a lot of walking, they need to install some of those moving walkways. I don't know how that could have been left out or overlooked in the planning process.
I love JetBlue! ✨️Great airline with a great new terminal! JetBlue is my fav airline 🥳
Terminal C looks better at day and sunset than night and sunrise in my opinion.
I was there this past weekend and didn't like or enjoyed the process walking from TSA to gate 245, the walking with bags is too much. Older people were walking and stopping trying to catch their breath. It is spacious and have a very cold feeling. I rather the old terminal A and its hiccups.
What a beautiful terminal and that video projection on the wall of a rocket launch at the Cape was incredible but wow, that was the longest walk I have ever done to get my gate at OIA, lol
Beautiful!
I had a feeling it would be an uncomfortably long walk getting around this new terminal, just from looking at the satellite images and concept art. What's worse is they actually plan to extend it significantly in both directions over time. I have to assume there are plans to either add moving walkways or a monorail that stops at various points along terminal C and eventually terminal D when the latter gets built.
I can't wait to visit it and enjoy the Plaza Premium Lounge
Is there Mears pickup and Drop off there or do you have to go to the main terminal?
Very nice , I used to work for JB, i get free flights for life, i have to check it out one these days
Not a fan of the monorail tram anyone can get on that doesn't require a security check. The shops look awesome. The very long walk might increase upset of travelers already tired and a bit short tempered but definitely will be a negative for those families with younger kids. The new terminal looks beautiful though and they really did need this expansion. Great coverage.
Are the stores behind security?
@@justingeorge7665 yes, they are.
Wish I saw this before I traveled through there last week lol
is baggage claim in this terminal too or do you need to tram over?
Jet Blue is a tenant in the new terminal, Greater Orlando Airport Authority (GOAA) owns the airport.
as someone who lives in orlando, i pray this will draw traffic away from semoran and 528... there's always issues in the area due to this.
Terminal C has a long walk from parking garage to TSA and then another long walk to the gates. What were they thinking. If you are a senior, have trouble walking or have lots of luggage good luck.
So if you’re elderly with mobility issue. How do you get from security to your gate?
Do you know what the quickest wat to pick up a hire car from terminal c is? Is it to get the tram to terminal a and b or is it to get the hire car shuttle over there?
I might want to look for a StarWars lanyard in the Disney World Store
So this will take some strain off the older terminals making them quieter? Also, is it for just domestic/USA internal flights generally, this new terminal? Thank you.
It's supposedly mostly for international, JetBlue is the only domestic airline in it
Very nice! Can't wait to fly JetBlue into Orlando and the new terminal! Reminds me of the new LaGuardia lots of walking I think both terminals need more moving walkways!
It’s weird not using the APM to/from security & the gates at Terminal C.
Disney store is after taking security check?
When are rental cars coming to Terminal C?
I took JetBlue when I went to Orlando two weeks ago so most likely arrived at this terminal…. But went straight to baggage claim and then left 🤦♂️ And when I flew back last week it was on Delta at terminal B so the stores were fine but not amazing like these. :/
What about car hire at Terminal C? I’ve had an email to say it isn’t ready yet so we’ll have to go to the old terminals to pick it up & drop off! 😢
if its not blue, its no good. long walk to gates, exellent thinking B6, us americans need the walk
Terminal C is more like a big white elephant, that’s it!!
Did they build it on the site of the original Orlando airport?
It is south of Terminals A & B.
Is this episode 131 of inside 300?
Do you mean Sunshine Diner? That's Chef Art Smith's other Orlando restaurant.
How do you get to the rental cars? Is there a shuttle to the rental cars? We were there and nobody at Jetblue knew. Rental cars in in terminal A/B and we had to walk all the way from Terminal A/B with our bags take the airshuttle, then walk another 1/4 mile, take an elevator to baggage check in terminal C. Then walk another 10 min to the gate. There was a Jetblue flashing sign in terminal A/B saying “25 min walk to terminal C”. That was their answer to the problem!
There is a bus shuttle that brings you straight to rental cars. There’s also rental car desks above the bridge over the roadway where you can get your car paperwork.
The question is whether there's any signage directing people to where they need to go for rental cars. If there isn't why isn't there staff directing people to the appropriate place?
All Jetblue flights flying out of Detroit have layovers in cities nowhere near Orlando... What the crap!? I might try Jetblue one time just for the experience, but I like to fly right into Orlando.
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼………………….My daughter and I were there last week, 11/4/22 ! The only hitch we had was my bag ( flying from Richmond Virginia ( RIC ) to MCO, a DOMESTIC flight) ended up in US Customs! Evidently, Customs don’t have enough money to buy their agents TSA keys to open baggage. The young lady at Jet Blue went and found mine and a fellow travelers bag ( I had an Apple Air Tag in mine ) when I told her how far away my bag was. Customs took bolt cutters and cut the zipper pulls on my bag, ruining the built in ,TSA Approved, locking system. I will be a Jet Blue passenger when ever I can fly them, that young lady went above and beyond to make things right with me! Oh, and the terminal was easy to navigate and spacious, I too wish the stores would hurry and open. There was still a lot of construction going on.
Really hope they somehow are able to invest in fixing up the rest of the airport now.
Some areas looks like the creepy backrooms on how empty it is lol
So, I work at this terminal and the walk isn’t really that bad and they do have airport golf cats that will take you to your gate. Shake Shack is open as of 11/1/2022 and the food is delicious. It’s a beautifully designed building and the security checkpoint is fascinating.
Airport golf carts aren't a sustainable means of solving the long walks. If motorized transport inside the terminal is what they intended, they would have built a people mover (or, moving sidewalk). I'd love to hear the architect explain WHY they couldn't possibly make it easily walkable. (Dear God, please don't let the answer be "not in the budget".) All the other stuff (big ceiling, bright light, nice kiosks.... is unimportant. Why would they make EASE OF ACCESS such a LAST PLACE PRIORITY?
It's Florida. That's why it wasn't given any consideration. Enough said.
Plz hear this this is not all JetBlue most flights will be JetBlue tho other flights are other International flights/airlines
My favorite part of flying into Orlando internationally with a layover was how close everything was! Disappointed!
So how far is the walk? Are we talking 100 yards, 300 yard, 500? Honestly, that is very poor planning and design not to have moving walkways like Denver does.
May be inside when you checked in looks better outside looks like some one made lot of Money
People need to walk more. I think society doesn‘t incorporate opportunities to stretch, walk, and get exercise. Too many areas, especially in the south, are too car centric.
They use to be one of the better airlines, not any more.
Thats horseshit... they are still cheaper and provide more legroom, free wifi, food... no other domestic carrier comes close.
Uncolorfull terminal
Not Good I do not like went there to pickup few friends just wasted of money .
Nothing like FLORIDA ...
I would hardly car it "remarkable". Good to see a new terminal but it's the typical fairly sterile terminal.
I'd be glad to go to Orlando, but there's no way Disney is getting a penny of my money while i'm there.
The issue of getting to ground transportation was patently ignored by the clowns who designed this terminal. Disabled and elderly passengers given zero consideration. Major fail!
What WASTE of money!! The other two terminals are SO MUCH BETTER
You are kidding right? Sorry, the terminal C is so much better.
100% correct
Very bad terminal
TERMINAL C SUCKS!
