Julie, I live alone in a mobil home. Im 72 yrs old, granny. I do have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren who live close by, and I babysit the 3 yr old grandbaby 4 days a week. So they keep me moving. I find comfort watching you thrift and decorate your country home. Your family is precious, and you're a wonderful mother. Thank you for keeping me company at night. I have no TV cable service. So I do have a nice phone and watch RUclips. I will be moving in a nicer mobil home and plan to decorate just like you do. So far, I bought a small basket and 2 candle holders for the fake candle sticks. You're an inspiration to me. Your pleasant and a joy to listen to. Thank you for sharing your life and family. Sincerely, Linda, my grandkids, call me Mena and Mynie. I answer to several names. It's all love. I'm from Temecula, California , a small country old town .
I love oil lamps too, and have a couple real old ones. I love the miniature ones too. I love lace tablecloths, especially the old vintage lace ones. Enjoyed the video. Addie is beautiful.
Your thrifting but video is great. I enjoyed seeing your precious grandbaby too. Really nice jewelry box. I know you will have it looking like new outside. I went to the Goodwill store yesterday and got a Wexford butter dish, I just love it. It's perfect for what I needed. I also got a silver serving set new in the box, complete with sugar, creamer, tray tea/coffee pot. It is just beautiful. I notice you always looking at silver trays. I love doing table scapes and thought it will look great on my dinning table during the holidays.
You could replace the tin in the doors with Anaglypta Paper. It’s that wall paper that looks like what is already in the one door. It’s also paintable.
So glad you picked up the mini painting...adorable...I too pick the hand painted mini's...loved the mirrored tray...the jewelry box...the gorgeous table cloth...such great finds... you've got a great eye!! So many treasures!! Can't wait to see the jewelry box makeover...You have a beautiful family and darling granddaughter! TFS!! 💗🥰💗
Ooh girl! I thought my pantry cupboard was ugly! Yours takes the cake. Lol, sorry. Yes you deserve one country classy, like you. Love all your items. Thank you for sharing+giving me joy at the end of a very stressful day.kl
There’s a painted jewelry box group on Facebook. You could ask where they find replacement parts for them. Also, D.Lawless Hardware may have something. If all else fails, you could google it.
Great jewelry box! I got several lace tablecloths at yard sales. I used one to wrap the Christmas tree base this year. Love oil lamps. My stepsister used oil lamps as centerpieces for the tables at her wedding reception. So pretty & romantic. Addie is adorable.!
I love love love ☺ that jewellery cabinet. You brighten my day every time I watch your videos. We are currently stuck on full COVID lockdown here in the UK. Thank you for you for sharing your family & joy of life.
Wow that jewelry box was a still! I paint them so I know how much they can cost. I normally find smaller ones for $5 but one that size would be $20+ as is. Good job
Try House of Antique Hardware for your jewelry box. I have a cabinet that was my moms and it had beautiful pulls on door but in the moving they got lost so I replaced them at this company for a great price!
Lots of great finds on this thrift haul. So happy that little daisy painting was still there. Love the lace table cover. Look forward to seeing how you redo the jewelry box, score on that!
Elizabeth is not being weird, she’s being her usual darling self! 💗 I love that jewelry cabinet and I’m sure you can pretty it up. I had a win at my local Second Chance thrift store. All Christmas was free, yes free! I got lots of mugs to make into succulent planters for next year! 🥰
Lovely jewelry box.❤️ Specialty Hardware store for new(yes small ones) handles. Great pillows! And omg, what a precious little sweetheart you're holding! She's adorable! Beautiful tablecloth, I mean wow! And the lamp also is lovely. Thank you for a wonderful video. kl
Hi Julie. I loved the jewelry box you found. Great deal! I also liked the little basket you looked at in the beginning of the video. Hope you all stay safe!
Hey Julie! You could look on Alliexpress for Jewelry box handles. They are really cheap, they sell great stuff, but for me here in Canada they take about 6 weeks to get. I would paint it white and get some pretty scrapbook paper and put it where the panels were, just a thought! TFS Hugs!
That flower painting was so sweet. I wonder if at that size it was part of a set. I went to our Goodwill store yesterday and came out with a set of file drawers and a wooden file box. On my way out I spied some windchimes but didn't have time to snatch them up. Windchimes and music boxes, that's what the girly-girl in me likes. BTW I love how you arranged that lantern and good luck with finding handles for the jewelry box.
Oh Julie...I am so excited for you with looking for a Hutch to replace the pantry. I don’t like mine either...I don’t like the kitchen in my family home period! I did as a kid, but living in it now for 18 years...the kitchen is not functional! And hardly any counter space....drives me crazy! The kitchen is 20x24 ft and you would think big... I had the same amount of counter space in our single wide mobile home that was 12x60 !!! Love the stoneware without the lid and your Phaltzgraff dish also and yes it is the Heritage pattern ( I had to look up the spelling for Phaltzgraff and picked the site for ALL the patterns! Which is a lot of patterns! I didn’t know that ! ) Love the Oil Lamp... between you and Robin Johnson with her collection... I’m falling in love! And what an amazing jewelry box! That was an expensive one when new !!! Little Miss Addie is ADORABLE....but was not impressed with Grandma’s lace tablecloth!!! Too cute ! So many great finds ! This was fun!!! Have a blessed week and hugs from snowy NYS ❄️❄️❄️💙💙💙❄️❄️❄️
Thank you so much Jayne! And yes, she just wanted me to hold her lol. And I’m in love with oil lamps these days. I just ordered some oil got it. So fun. Thank you so much for watching!
@@ThrilledThrifter Oh... wha type of oil did you get? I need to read which type to use! I also was looking in my area for a Hutch like what you showed us ..... I am so excited for you ...and pray you find one !
You always find good stuff! Loved it all, the small painting, the oil lamp, and the tablecloth. I also plan on gardening this spring. Don't have much experience but trying to educate myself also. Will you do some educational videos on growing vegetables? I think many of us want to get back to the simple life right now.
For your jewelry box replace the metal panels with wallpaper or mirrors. Check a dollhouse store for pulls. If you can't find anything you could always use pieces from a chandelier if you don't mind using crystal.
I love that that tablecloth is just beautiful also your granddaughter is very beautiful to he's just looking at you like what are you doing Grandma she's so sweet I'm glad I got to see her on here I know you have quite a few grandchildren I do like the tablecloth though
The secret to staying organized with your jewelry is to take the little extra time to put it back in your jewelry box when you take it off. It doesn't really take any extra time to open the jewelry box and put your jewelry in there than it does to throw it down on the dresser. :)
4:06 I snag those glass nesting eggs whenever I come across them (which is rare!), to put in a stand in my kitchen.---I have a vintage tablecloth that I've used as a bedcover. A fitted sheet will fit over two blankets, and then the tablecloth covers that, letting the color of the sheet show through. In Albuquerque, my hubby made captains beds for all of us, but here, I use a coordinating bedskirt.
Little teapot night light is not vintage but so cute, I would have gotten it. Christmas Norman Rockwell was a must have. Mirror tray is gorgeous and great price. Beautiful jewelry box incredible price! Tablecloth is gorgeous. Very pretty light.
Hi Julie! I’ve been watching for awhile now and finally subbed! you’ve inspired so many thrift finds recently but my goodwill is going crazy for prices that mirrored tray would’ve been at least 5$ lol great find for 1.99!

I just redid a jewelry armoire like that! I made it into a "witch's cabinet" for Halloween decor, but the possibilities are endless!
Oh how fun! Thank you so much for sharing!

You are by far, my favorite thrifter and my go to channel.
Love it all. The white dish you’re using as a planter would be cute in the kitchen with herbs.

Mirror might work on your jewelry box, i would also look for a small
Table to stand it on

It's money well spent when the children get lots of fun out of things .
Yes!
When you showed the oil lamp your house reminded me of the Waltons house. I guess it's the door and window and couch placement.
Awe, maybe so. Thank you so much for watching!
Julie, you found some nice things. The jewlery box is really nice! I like pfaltzgraff dishes too!

Hi Julie. I loved the jewelry box you found. Great deal! I also liked the little basket you looked at in the beginning of the video. Hope you all stay safe!

Where I live you would have paid at least 30.00 at a thrift store for that lace table cloth. It is beautiful
Wow! And Thank you!
Loved everything. Beautiful lace table cloth. I used a large one as a shower curtain with alligator clips. I have a beautiful oil lamp I thrifted too.

Love the jewelry chest. The tablecloth could be used on a bed also as another layer. Great find! Love your channel.
Yes someone else said that too. I’m definitely trying it.
Insert piece you can get at home improvement stores. Its ceiling tile or back splash. Hope it helps

Well I don’t have a jewelry box lol that is part of the problem. Hopefully once I get around to up cycling the one I bought it will get better.
The dish you called a casserole had "vegetable server" stamped right on the bottoom.
Well I sure missed that lol
Hi, you can decopage the doors of the wood jeweler. Just an idea

A small stencil might work for jewelry box
Omg Addy is so cute.. Giving me a baby fever over here 😂💚💜
Thank you she’s e beauty!
You can find those teardrop pulls on Amazon and Hardwaresource.com. HL does have a few, but they're probably too large for your little cabinet.
I always see those hutches on Facebook marketplace and the Nextdoor app. Many times because they are so big the are free!! Good luck in your search.
Oh let me check out that app
Yes Heritage pattern Jamie from board or bananas collects the heritage pattern also
That tray is good for perfume bottles so the drips don’t eat varnish off your dresser
