On "My Car Story" we're in South Barrington IL at The Arboretum of South Barrington for the Supercar Saturdays Event on 6-3-17.
We're looking at a 2012 Shelby Mustang GT500 converted to a Custom Designed 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 affectionately named “SuperSwap” .
The car's Owner, Designer & Builder is Dan Burback. Dan bought a brand new 2012 Shelby Mustang GT500. He then shared with his wife Laura he’s going to take it apart an build a Custom 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500, creating a car that is the best of the new, with an old school look. So for the next four years every weekend Dan built the car. Today we’re seeing the final result.
