    I haven't yet decided exactly how I feel about it, but I do believe that this chapter in Packers history has come to an end. Thank you, Aaron. My father passed away last year, and I'm so thankful that you and Brett helped ensure that we would come together and get to know one another better every football Sunday for three decades. Cheers.

    This interview was poignant and I could feel Aaron's pain @ possibly losing his peer group.
    His entire life has been geared towards excelling in football and it will likely be a tough landing when he decides to retire. He would have to give up the built-in comaraderie, the
    limelight, endorsements will end, 'friends' may lose interest, etc.
    I hope he is seriously looking into what would give him meaning after football ends. There will be a grieving period. Once it ends, though, he will be better able to be himself.

    I've never seen such a super gifted quarterback that is a generational talent always have all the blame put on his shoulders for every big loss. Yes he wears his heart on his sleeve and has the eye rolls or bad body language at times. He has had some crazy plays that were killers in the Playoffs that were beyond his control like him bringing the team so close to victory and then the botched onside kick recovery and the defense letting him down many times in the past. He hasn't always played perfect either. I just don't understand how we never put every loss on greats like Marino, Kelly, Elway, Favre, Brees, etc when they lost a lot of big games and Marino or Kelly never even won a SB and Elway didn't until Terrell Davis came along. Let's not forget all the magic we've seen Aaron perform on the field as one of the best throwers of the football we've ever seen and he has a SB ring. The Packers are a team that has wasted back to back generational talents because they basically never go all in using free agency or trades to put the pieces around them but always choose to build through the draft. If u don't like Aaron for whatever reason, that is fine, but don't put every loss on his shoulders when football is the ultimate team game and u didn't treat the other greats so harshly. He does share part of the blame at times and doesn't deserve a free pass but use your brains and not your personal feelings or bias towards the man.

    @CarlosRen1776 Год назад +4

    He wants to do 20 years with the Packers and that’s it, if the packers don’t want him I don’t picture him wanting to play elsewhere. He wants to hold it over Brett’s and every other recently great QB that switched teams. Much like Kobe without the team success he doesn’t seem to be a ring chaser but will make it known if he isn’t happy. Difference is the Lakers organization went out and retooled for Kobe multiple times which led to greater team success. The years wasted by this organization is criminal, not just wasted Aaron years but Brett as well. Kinda similar. Great teams early SB wins. Followed by average years(moreso Brett) but then now towards the end of both their careers great teams formulating. Reminds me of the 06 going into the 07 year.

      He is greater than Brady. Brady is a diva who pouts every time he loses. On after game interviews after he loses he is not very nice and just leaves before the interview is over. He may have won all those Super Bowl rings but Aaron runs rings around him in leadership, being himself, having so many friends and followers of the Packer nation. I have no respect for Brady going back to the incident at the Patriots. He is not a class act, whereas Aaron is and always was and always will be. He has to come back for at least ONE MORE!! That was his original contract anyway. Everyone is allowed one bad season.

    For the first time ever, I believe Aaron does have a part in the blame for the worst season we've seen in a long, long time. However, the franchise has been nothing but ungrateful to him, we literally wasted the prime of one of the greatest QB's the game has ever seen, and unlike many others, I'm nor very positive for what the future has to offer. J. Love is NOT the answer to our problems, and he is most definitely not the future of the franchise. If you think otherwise, come back to this comment next January.

    I am a 72 year old woman who has been a faithful supporter of the packers and Rodgers for his whole career until yesterday after the loss to the lions , I am now questioning that. It is not the loss so much, it’s the packers did not even show up. It was obvious they did not care, they were loose with the ball, they showed no love for the game. They make so much money so it is so disappointing watching the team end the year like this where going home and warming your feet up is more important. I feel really bad for all the packer fans who were at the game. They certainly did not get there moneys worth.
