Supertanker would of been a real game changer with these fires. But very very poor decisions by USFS & ,CALFIRE got them into this situation. If they would of jumped on that lightninged strike instead of letting it sit & smolder & then blowup to what we have now, residents wouldn't be going thru this. Someone needs to be held accountable as this was gross negiliance by the state fire folks. This needs an investigation & folks should be held liable for their actions.
Install sprinklers and heat detecting CCTV to avoid future fires. Every country should implement this. It would end up saving hundreds of billions in the long term directly and indirectly and not just money but the environment, the eco system but more importantly, life and limb (humans and animals). It's important to look outside the box and not be stuck in our little brains to realise that actually if you bring the right people and resources to the table, alot can be achieved.

I heard they did order air tankers on this originally. However someone flew a drone over the fire and the air assets had to pull back.
