Love those natural colors with the pop of green. You find the most interesting stuff for your projects. Who would have thought milkweed would be so pretty! I hope the Monarch butterflies find your yard and flutter a ‘thank you’!
Hello!!! I thank you so much for all that you give to those of us, sitting on the other side of your screen, being totally inspired by your skills. I can't thank you enough. Thank you so much for sharing your work with us!!! Your projects (materials, colors, placement, etc.) are amazing!
Hi Glenda! It’s my pleasure - I’m thrilled that you are inspired! 😊 And thank YOU for being such a faithful follower of my channel! Hope you have a lovely weekend!
It turned out very cute! Love the technique to make the faux hand drawn image. It is amazing how much the little borders add to a piece. Thanks for sharing.
As always, I love how tickled you get when something turns out so cute! I too love the sketchy look and it's only been recently that I've started doing that in my actual drawing. I used to be so concerned about straight/solid line-work, but in the last couple of years I've learned how much I love going over lines more than once to make them look sketchy and was so amazed that the imperfect results I got were that great :) I also love how this technique can transform collage images! Always a delight to watch you work :)
I, too, love the sketchy look!, Richaela!.....my love for it came from frustration of trying to outline and failing to get it perfect....it was then I started seeing the sketchy look in books and online as I got interested in art journaling....now I messy sketch and I love it!
I love watching your process as you create a page❣️ you are very talented. This snack bag book is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing your creativity 🥰
It's so funny that i decided to watch your video today, because I was JUST reading a booked called "Delicious," and in it the author writes about how milkweed shoots are edible! Also, the "floss" was used during the war to make life jackets, because a pound of milkweed floss could keep someone afloat for ten hours! As we all now know, they're beautiful to look at, too. TFS!
Umm hi I just wanted to say that watching your vids make me happy and calm ( I follow along and do my own)😊😊🤗🤗😊🤗and also I wanted to say that I love how your laugh is like a very happy giggle😊
Hi, this project turned out adorable. The border was perfect. It really anchored the cactus. Thanks for sharing your tip on the outline. It definitely makes a difference and I llike the idea of it not being perfect. Have a good weekend.😘
Cat, I really really love 💖 this. It’s really really so simple, but it’s so very very nice. I don’t think 🤔 I’ve seen the last one from your snack bag book 📚. So I’m going to look 👀 for it. Thank you so much xxx Mags
That does look like fun, Cat. I have been out of commission since May 22nd this year when I broke my left wrist, and of course I'm a lefty, ugh. So I'm back to the land of the living and will get back on to my MMM pages starting with August. I hope to also go back to the ones I missed in a while cuz I want to fill my little snack book up. TFS XOXOJane
I just love your videos! I look forward to them, and wish they happened every week! I bought two of these kits from you, mislaid one and then found it after I bought the second one! Duh! Sad to say, I have not made time to actually do the artwork. I told my husband I am stocking up projects for my retirement!
I absolutely love watching your videos. That milkweed flower is so pretty. I don't believe I have ever seen one before. I also love your new page. Everything matches the other pages and it looks like a lot of fun doing the loose outlines. They really look like they were painted after you outline them. You're the best! Have a great day!!! xox >^..^
Always love a visit with you Cat. We visit way too seldom these days.. Do you find it more difficult to get your pen to work on slick magazine pages?? Hugs! deb
Thanks, Deb. I don’t have that problem very often, but sometimes a particular pen won’t do well on washi tape for me. When that happens, I just use a fine Sharpie marker. If you’re having that problem on magazine pages, you could try putting a coat of matte medium on it to make it no longer glossy. TFW! 😊
Love this idea! Looks so good. Love that strip of cardstock across the bottom of the page - so versatile. Big ask - do you happen to know the paperpack it belongs to?!

Thanks! Yes, I’ve seen a few monarchs in my yard! 😊😊😊

Thanks, Jennifer! Yes, I do - it came from a 6x6 pad called Serenade, by Basic Grey. Thanks for watching! :)
@@CatHand Oh thankyou!!

Here you go: pixabay.com
Good morning! Can you flatten out the bag and measure it please?
The bags I’m using are approximately 4x8 inches. 😊
