versatile96 I think that’s a good request, I haven’t seen very many. And it makes a lot of since if you want to go gender neutral or wait to find out the gender but want a name to your baby!
Ooh, I love the name Cody! I named my son Beck. I found it in the credits of a TV programme, which may well have been American - I can't remember now, this was about sixteen years ago!
We have a Bertie! Before we even knew he was a boy we always called bump Albie - even though there was a few names we liked on either side. Now he's born though it's shifted to Bertie. People love the older names at the moment!
I like old man names too! My sister called her son Bertie (Gilbert is the full name). I've got a son called Xavier (pronounced Zavier) and Tobias. Love the name Theodore and Augustine ☺️
I have a plant called Hector and I love it! And Cody was my first ever favourite name for a boy when I was a teenager 😂 We have very similar taste my love!x
I have to admit that I find looking for boys names so much more fun and easier. I have two boys and a third one on the way. When we looked for names for our next baba it was important to us that it would match the other boys's names and of course our surname. So we've got a Mason, Flynn and Taylor! BTW I'm glad you went for Rufus. I absolutely adore the name and it suits him so well xxx
My friend has a baby called xandar but we call him xan for short. My favourite names for boys are Cosmo and Clover. I also have friends who called their boys Huckleberry (Hucky for short) and Gus. ☺️
I think Teddy would be lovely for a girl as well! I'm quite far off having kids, but I think I'll keep it in mind down the road. Also really love Felix
Bertrand could be a name that’s shortened to “Bertie,” and I never hear it used. I have a thing for “S” names for boys-Silas, Samuel, and Simon are at the top of my “maybe someday” list for now.
Oh my gosh, I love Bodie & wanted to call my youngest that but my husband said it sounds like bogey & got my other 3 kids to say that too 😒I also had Kody on my list. Phoenix (which is now a middle name) was on my list as was Xander (my daughter is called Xaria so I liked the "X" names) in the end we went with Julius which took 6 weeks (we finally agreed at Camden Town Hall right before registering) 😁
Yeah the boys version!!! And again same taste here :) Only pitty is that in German some names sound off, but I like the English version, but calling my kid like being in Britain would be weird as well. But Sander is actually quite a good name for both pronounciation.. comes on my list ..for probably in ..seven years :D Why is all this family and kids and pregnancy stuff so interesting to me, even though I have nothing to do with it in my life right now? I don´t know but I love it and will be prepared as hell when the time comes! Hannah you started all of this :)
Here are boy names that I like: Charlie or Charles, Tom or Thomas, Oliver, Peter, Elliot, Oscar, James, George, Noah, Ben, Benjamin, Frederick, Freddie, Wilfred, Max, Felix, Harry, Martin, Arthur, William or Will, Timothy, Rupert, and Paul.
Hi Han. Did you decide to honour your mum in your boys names even though you didn't go for Teddy? My mum passed away and even if I have boys in the future, i'm quite keen to pay an homage to her somehow. Her name was Anne. Her star-sign was Leo so I'd be tempted to go for that. It's a tricky one!
It's funny, my mum purposefully chose our names so that we *couldn't* have nicknames because her name, Susan, was always shorted as a child and she hated it! And now, I really can't imagine naming my child taking nicknames into account lol. I didn't even realize I felt this way until this video!
Hector is what we're calling a second baby boy- not yet conceived 😂 then we'd have Atticus and Hector, I like how they're both from the same area (Latin/Greek) xx
You should watch Life with Beans on RUclips - it's an adorable Australian family with 6 kids, all with really cute names (they have a Rufus too, and a Felix). I like Blake, that's the name of the street I grew up on so I've always been drawn to it.
Hannah, all of these names are so...foreign feeling! I'm an American, and we hear Cody a lot but the others def sound European to me! I have four boys, including identical twins! My boys are called Dylan, Flynn, Reef, and Wren. Most of the names were inspired by Welsh or English names, I thought, but they don't sound as foreign to me! Loved this video!
Laura, really?! I haven't searched recently, but when I was pregs with my first, Dylan, my husband looked into it and I thought we learned it was of Welsh origin. His full name is Dylan Thomas. I agree, Reef is probably pretty American! And Flynn is super Irish!
Could Teddy we an option for a baby girl as well? I’ve only heard it once before on a girl (House Of White on IG) but it’s so sweet to have that meaning behind it Hannah xxx
SO WIERD! We have very similar taste in names! My list isn’t even that long but so many of mine were on this list! Bertie Barnaby Teddy Rufus Hector Then I also have... Wylie Penn Rupert We are having a surprise this time. Wylie is the top contender currently. We already have 2 girls named Finlay and Darcy.
Love those names :) I’m due a baby boy in less than two weeks now. We loved the names Blake, Reuben, Fergus, Rocco and Eli. But we think we’re going to go with Woody!
I loved the name Jesse and still do, but my husband thought it was too American 😢 No more babies for us sadly, but if we were to accidentally have another (😂) then I might fight a bit harder for it.
What is wrong with American names? At least we don’t name our children things like Bertie or Humphrey 😂 those are terrible! To each their own. A beautiful family regardless of names.
"Rufus" and "Humphry"? any chance you came across the little show called "Gossip Girl" in the past? I love all the names!
Pfeifferd94 I know right! I immediately thought the same. I lived for "Gossip Girl" back in the day. Haha
:) Hannah said once Gossip Girl was her guilty pleasure
Random question, but do you still have your tattoo? I remember you saying you wanted to get it changed or removed. x
Teddy and Blake are such nice names ❤️
This might be a bit much to ask, but what about a unisex name list?
versatile96 I think that’s a good request, I haven’t seen very many. And it makes a lot of since if you want to go gender neutral or wait to find out the gender but want a name to your baby!
I love the name Ezra for a boy
Me too!! I'm having a boy in December and I really wanted to call him Ezra but my other half won't let me, so I think it is going to be Rory instead.
So cute! Congratulations!
Hi Hannah! I was just wondering what middle names you paired with the boy’s first names ? Xx

My favorite boy name is Julian but I don’t think I could use it because my name is Juliette and that’s very similar
Can you do the baby name tag too please?
I have a plant called Hector and I love it! And Cody was my first ever favourite name for a boy when I was a teenager 😂 We have very similar taste my love!x

I like old man names too. I’ve named my sons Olavi and Unto - both very common names among old Finnish men 😄
I think Teddy would be lovely for a girl as well! I'm quite far off having kids, but I think I'll keep it in mind down the road. Also really love Felix
How do you spell Zebedeh? I love the sound of that name!
Bertrand could be a name that’s shortened to “Bertie,” and I never hear it used.
I have a thing for “S” names for boys-Silas, Samuel, and Simon are at the top of my “maybe someday” list for now.

Both Grayson and Rufus are so elegant. We chose Ellis for our boy but were toying with Edison for a while.x
my brother is called alexander and we shorten it to zander x
Bertram! Was on my list too x
Yeah the boys version!!!
And again same taste here :) Only pitty is that in German some names sound off, but I like the English version, but calling my kid like being in Britain would be weird as well. But Sander is actually quite a good name for both pronounciation.. comes on my list ..for probably in ..seven years :D

I've got a Brodi...he's 18 and I adore his name! I also have a Dylan 🖤
Wow, awesome baby boy names!💖💗
Bertie is really cute and works so well as a nickname for Wilbert. I could totally see you guys having a Will or a Theo.
Aphrodite D Theodore maybe, William isn’t a name I can see Hannah going with though
Zebedee just makes me think of the magic roundabout!
Plum Person Andrew?

I am getting a baby brother and we need a name this is so helpful
Hector is what we're calling a second baby boy- not yet conceived 😂 then we'd have Atticus and Hector, I like how they're both from the same area (Latin/Greek) xx
those names are gorgeous!!
Catherine both Greek, Atticus comes from Attica, which is the area surrounding Athens ;)
My grandfather was a Humphrey. Humphrey Humphreys which I think was a little cruel
You should watch Life with Beans on RUclips - it's an adorable Australian family with 6 kids, all with really cute names (they have a Rufus too, and a Felix). I like Blake, that's the name of the street I grew up on so I've always been drawn to it.
Love it! What an adorable choice ❤️
I have a little boy called cody! It’s actually Irish!☘️
Chantel Pankhurst yes it was originally from an Irish surname, similar to surnames like Taylor that Americans like using for first names
Loveee these videos x
Teddy would be such an awesome name for a little boy or a little girl :)
I'm so glad he ended up being a Rufus, it is the perfect name for him 😊
My 8 month old is Teddy :) x

Hannah, all of these names are so...foreign feeling! I'm an American, and we hear Cody a lot but the others def sound European to me! I have four boys, including identical twins! My boys are called Dylan, Flynn, Reef, and Wren. Most of the names were inspired by Welsh or English names, I thought, but they don't sound as foreign to me! Loved this video!
They’re mostly all very old school English names! I’d say Flynn and Reef are very American and Dylan too somewhat, lovely name though x
Laura, really?! I haven't searched recently, but when I was pregs with my first, Dylan, my husband looked into it and I thought we learned it was of Welsh origin. His full name is Dylan Thomas. I agree, Reef is probably pretty American! And Flynn is super Irish!

I love the name Xander, could be nicknamed Xan? I think that’s pretty cool still :)
I also know an Ander - short for Alexander which is also what Xander is short for.
Could Teddy we an option for a baby girl as well? I’ve only heard it once before on a girl (House Of White on IG) but it’s so sweet to have that meaning behind it Hannah xxx

I know two little brothers named Alfie and Woody
The most middle class names ever
I loved the name Jesse and still do, but my husband thought it was too American 😢 No more babies for us sadly, but if we were to accidentally have another (😂) then I might fight a bit harder for it.

Did she say Birtie ?
gorgeouss79 bertie
What is wrong with American names? At least we don’t name our children things like Bertie or Humphrey 😂 those are terrible! To each their own. A beautiful family regardless of names.
Kaitlin Warner probably just because they’re a British family, not Americans... the mentioned names are very British 😊
