I really appreciate you being real about what you HAVEN'T done. Sometimes I watch RUclipsrs who seem so together and "caught up," and it just makes me feel like that can only happen if it's your "job" and I wonder how "real" people are keeping up. Thanks for being transparent about not always finishing everything you start. It motivates me to just keep moving forward and doing what I can.

Wow! Love the variety of albums you've shown here. 9x12 has historically been my favourite, but now I'm really loving the potential of the 6x12 albums. Thank you! Your spreads are always so inspiring & beautiful!! 🤩

to make the formatting of your photos easier, you could make a template for the different page protector formats with all the sizes to make it easier. Either a photoshop template or a paper template with the sizes written in for easy reference when prepping your photos/pages. Can't wait to see how it comes together.

I’m doing a 12x12. I have them since 2015 and I like that they all match on the shelf. I do one album per year. But also a 12x12 album of scrapbook layouts. Hehe. 6x8 is my jam for longer stories. I added 9x12 for alternate size stories and I’m doin my 7 memory planner too. I’m very consistent. I’m afraid to change it up too much. lol.

I agree that Project Life is the best! I am a lot like you, I started out doing 12x12 with products and switched to the app at some point and now I print the books each year. I love the Shutterfly lay flat pages books. I also have Storyline Chapters which I am using to go way back and document the past prior to PL. Loved this video! Love it! My first scrapbook year 2000, was a spiral bound from Micheals with the board type pages, love the 2 I did before moving into 12x12 layouts and quickly went to 3 rings to store more pages. It is fun to look back at the trends of scrapbooking over the years too.

Hehe… I have three half done albums, 2021 12x12 PL, 2022 12x12 PL, and 2023 8.5x11 spiral bound notebook from Plum Paper. All three are done through about July when I usually burn out. Sigh. My plan is to finish them with just photos but I don’t have much motivation. I got a scrappy spiral book from Heba for 2024. I plan to make it story based. Weekly or even monthly feels like so much pressure!! We’ll see what happens haha. Tbh I’m having way more fun with my reading journal and One Little Word. Oh and December Daily. 😊

What size was the 2023 bound book please? This was a great video! I have done all 12 x 12 and am ready for a change, so i bought a 9 x 12, 6 x 12 and 10x10 lol…now to jump in before the end of January and commit.

Yes I switched to a 9x12 pocket page album for 2024 and I like it better. Just more comfortable. I've gotten a few layouts done so yay me!
