This is by far my favorite mixer right now & I own them all from the DJM900nexus all the way down to the MP2016/XP2016, original Urie 1620, & Bozak. This mixer is incredible. I personally love scratching during my house sets & love having on board effects but once you get one of these in your hands it's a totally different ball game. It's so smooth, so clean, & so much fun to play with the ISO & filters you almost forget all about the effects. I actually have an RMX-1000 hooked up to it & barely touch it cause I'm literally having so much fun with the mixer itself. All those effects are not needed anymore. I do wish they would make an expansion piece to this mixer like they did on the original MP2016 cause I really want a fader. I can run out & get a fader box but I don't want to jeopardize the sound quality of this mixer. If Rane was to make one (Fader) I think tons of people who already own these will be on board. Hopefully Rane is listening.. :))

I would say this is the ideal mixer for the Desert Festival scene like the ones they have in Black Rock, Mojave, Vegas. No dust is going to get in like the pioneers. Also, it has that beefy hand made look.

Time to sell my old gear. I need this. Its everything you need as a Traktor user, or if you have two or four CDJs. I hated that my Urei and 2016 had bottom only connections. This allows us to put everything in a standard coffin and use the CDJ SPDIFs connections.

I would think this product is going to be hard to sell because it's lacking a lot of core features. A lot of "underground" techno DJ's
    A) Love to scratch
    B) Love to use onboard FX without the use of computer software
As an "underground" rave DJ myself, I know that we don't supply the clubs with our own equipment, they provide the standard Pioneer equipment that sound supurb and have that FX and crossfader capabilities to work with all the different styles of underground DJ's. Nor do they like dealing with computer setups and stuff. At least, the venues and gig's I play, but can be different per club/type of gig.
While this product does look like it is built really well and no doubt sounds fantastic, it's definitely not something I would consider as an "underground" techno DJ.

DJSkunkieButt Would say the Xone 92 would be the Underground Standard for House / Techno these days, no?
Pioneer obviously has the market cornered on the more commercial end, but as someone who has owned both a Xone 92 and a DJM 900, the Pioneer is garbage in comparison sound wise.
The effects are all very in your face, a bit gimmicky and not as pleasant as a nice subtle filter sweep on the 92.
