As always - thanks Jerry. Really great commentary - the 30+ years of playing chess paid off. Some of those moves by Garry caught me by surprise. Not something I see too much these days with so many players playing more on memory than on the pieces in front of them.
Whoa, so many great tactics in this game. Thank you, Jerry! BTW, I've been working through your standard games and trying to understand your own thought process. I feel like you think mostly positionally but have a pretty finely tuned sense of when to stop and calculate tactics. This game seems like Kasparov is thinking ahead tactically all the time. In any case, what you do here with these videos is incredibly valuable. Many thanks.
A better quality game after a long time,I have already watched 13 year old Kasparov game from Agadmator's channel will have to check whether the same. Thanks
Weird, once again I did not receive a notification after what appears RUclips having deactivated the bell on this channel for me...this has happened to me with other channels too, recently.
Personally, I find games, played by humans, much more enjoyable to watch. Thank you for your explanation of what's going on; certainly helps to fully appreciate the beauty of this game.
When pronouncing "Kasparov," the stress is on the second syllable. Let's get his name right -- he's possibly the greatest chess player ever. I do love your channel, by the way.
I think the last name Kasparov is more like evenly pronounced w/o such accent on the first syllable. Not KAS parov but just kas par ov. Or even accent the par just a little bit. I think that's more like a Russian would say it. Correct me if I'm wrong!
I like how castles covers both threats ... I've considered before looking for positions where there are two threats, but haven't really thought about, moves that counter two threats --- like the castle move in this game, covering kingside and also N on c1
Thank you Jerry just so great . what can I do to remember all those perfect moves when I play ? when I play I feel as I see the board for the first time in my life and get so intense and complex , but I won't stop watching cause I get exited just in understanding thanks again.
Hi Jerry. Can you slow down? You've got some seriously useful commentary for any chess player. It runs too fast for me though. I need to keep rewinding to absorb what you're saying. It may even help to introduce some shortish pauses when you ask the audience 'what to do?'
I get lost after 3 moves if there are more than a few pieces on the board, but that's 2 more moves than I could calc as a true beginner. I saw Garry explaining 7 moves in advance with most variations he found over the board. An amazing mind for certain.
11:47 : Me while watching the video : Ok but play QxF2, PLAY QxF2! Jerry answered me straight in real time : This is not working thats a pinned bishop. Ok, sorry sorry chess masters :') Thanks for the vid i enjoyed it!

thats so insane. How are those players capable of keeping track with all that complex and contraintuitive moves. Huge respect!
We need to go deeper... what a tactical monster. Amazing game even for a top GM and this was at 13.
Great selection of game as always. Kasparov a positional beast. Amazing

As always - thanks Jerry. Really great commentary - the 30+ years of playing chess paid off. Some of those moves by Garry caught me by surprise. Not something I see too much these days with so many players playing more on memory than on the pieces in front of them.

Best chess commentary ever!

Hmmm. :( I don't know why that would be happening.
Me neither. It's unfortunate, hopefully they fix that.
@@ChessNetwork Guess I and other users will just have to work around that, keep up the content, really enjoying it.
Thx Jerry please post more games like that 👍👍
Stellar analysis Jerry, certainly taught me some great lessons in the king's indian and about maintaining tension, liked!
Personally, I find games, played by humans, much more enjoyable to watch. Thank you for your explanation of what's going on; certainly helps to fully appreciate the beauty of this game.

Whoah loving these!
Awesome game, very sharp. Thanks, chess-meister Jerry
Thank you for everything you do Jerry
MatoJelic, Agadmator, Shaxmati dlia vsekh, GingerGM, and John Bartholomew are colossal titans dominating 64-squares, but Jerry is the King.
Thanks - that was a great video!
Wow. Such a good game. So many great moves by Kasparov. Learned a lot
Great game. Excellent analysis! Thank you very much!
So glad you're back Jerry!
There is so much chess wisdom in your vids
Kasparov was a tactical machine in his hey day, played almost like an engine.
Thanks for the insightful commentary
Wow these old pre computer games are so different than today's games. Easier to understand, more human. Post more please!!
Check the accuracy of today's top GM games vs the Kasparov games when he was in his prime. btw did you notice that GK was only 13 in this game?
I love these videos, thanks! :)
Great game; great analysis. Bravo.
Jerry please do more commentaries.. it doesn't have to be top level chess because your analysis is why I watch
This game is a work of art.
When pronouncing "Kasparov," the stress is on the second syllable. Let's get his name right -- he's possibly the greatest chess player ever. I do love your channel, by the way.
Tbilisi? That's great, another great way to appear in history

Click the gear icon under the video and select ‘Playback speed’. You can adjust accordingly. 👍

We love you Jerry keep it up!
Do you use lichess as your interface when you are analyzing games? I've never seen these pieces on lichess. The computer analysis looks like lichess
I think the correct term is "protected passed pawn".
i love the new intro logo
Thanks, very instructive.
Jerry is back!
Great video, Mr Jerry.
There is no better chess analyzer around than Jerry.
We are all a little bit better after this.
beautiful.
Oh, how I've missed you Jerry
Chess is love chess is life
Brilliance!
