Snagged this monitor and there's a couple quirks I'm trying to sort out if it it's an issue with my monitor or just the model in general: 1. All of the shortcuts & settings are wiped when I turn the monitor off and back on. 1. Every LUT I've tried says that File format is not supported. (I've tried ones I've purchased from Buttery & Phantom and neither will load) Is there something I'm doing wrong to keep the settings saved in the monitor or use different LUT formats?
@@matteomar04 There’s a firmware update on their website that fixed the LUT issue. For the settings not to be wiped each time you turn it off, I’ve learned to power off the camera first then the monitor and it’s fine.
Great Video - Wanting something like this for better review of Dog agility / sports still photography. Lightweight therefore super important. and don't want anything too bulky. This looks to sit within the 'footprint' of my 7d Mk2. One question.....I can't for the life of me find a UK source for this! so finding myself trying to compare with others like feelworld et al. Can you suggest a route to purchase for a UK customer. Keep it up!
@@HarvVideoAudioStuff Yikes, it's $52 for shipping, plus i recon will be hit with customs charges. Need to wait until it's being sold properly in the UK i think.
I use f750 and f950 sizes with the t5+ (I prefer a little more weight but longer life) and I get way longer than I need. However, not all NP-F batteries are equal and I’ve just replaced all of mine so it’s probably not fair comparing brand new batteries!
This monitor seem to be ticking all the boxes for me as a full time traveler 🤔 One question tho, is it possible to use it as a dual screen for the Macbook M1 ? In this case that would be the best investment for me because that would make it as usefull in shooting than in editing and totally justify adding weight to my backpack (I have no NP F batteries so far so that means adding the monitor, the batteries, a new charger... This is adding up as a backpacker 🤔)
The battery out function is basically useless because you need their own dummy battery adapter - all the other Np FW dummy batteries available have right angle DC connectors that won't fit (and they are probably too thick also, as the DC port on the monitor is thinner than usual.
A lot of monitors have this issue. Put the backlight to 10. I was peeved to find out the same issue with my $900 Kinemon. It’s not uncommon but annoying for sure.
Mine did too when I first got it - I talked to support, and they created a firmware update that fixed it! But I've got another problem that they're still trying to figure out. It resets all my scenes every time I switch it off!
Enjoy guys! *Note that you can improve the angle of the monitor when mounted with the included arm with the silver screw near the plastic knob 👍🏻
The screen for Luts only shows me a list of 1-10 luts and doesnt let me do any loading from the sd card I put in
Do you notice a slight delay in the monitor? I am experiencing a slight delay when moving around and zooming in with a manual lens
For the sun hood, I don’t take it off the arm I just start putting it on from the other side

Will this work with an older DSLR like my canon 5d mark ii?
1000 Nits Great monitor for great price
Watching you a video of you again after several years. I was thinking the only one who has whites on his beard was me. We are getting old mate...
This massively accelerated when I became a dad I reckon! 👨🏼🦳

Does it have a
mirror image option?
Wow.. new to this video game.. and you are so compelling and authoritative! Love. Subscribed. What more can I say.
Many thanks! 🙏🏻
Is there a fan in the monitor which might make some noise? TY
Thanks, it was really informative. Can you tell me what does it do when i try to record 4k60?
Great video. I went ahead and purchased the monitor but it won't go full screen for me. There's a black box around the edges. Any idea why?
Yep, you’ll need to have a play with the video output setting in your camera. I forget the exact setting but you’ll find it 👍🏻
But where do you get it in the uk?
Osee website, worldwide shipping 👍🏻
@@HarvVideoAudioStuff cheers

Also, isn't Osee the same as Swit. They look the same. Maybe ProAV will have the Swit version soon.
Hmm not sure about Swit, Amazon US could be a good option but yes…customs 🤦🏻♂️
Hey, big thanks for the video. I can't find any info about battery life with a NP-F550 for instance. Do you know? Thanks!
Your channel is underrated.
Can u tell how to make a story and planning the story
Nice video Harv.
So...i need a full HDMI to.full HDMI cable? I have a gh5
Whatever HDMI type your camera has to full HDMI 👍🏻
Does it have a full size HDMI slot? My Gh6 is a full size HDMI.
Have you tried the np f550 battery on t5 plus? If so, how long do they last? or should i buy np f750 battery?

@@HarvVideoAudioStuff on average how long would a f750 last using the screen?
Anyone have experience with the portkeys PT6? If this had touchscreen and hdmi out I would have spent 250 on it
Better than smallhd 502 bright?

I've recently picked it up and found that there's a weird high pitched noise coming from the monitor. Did you also experience this?

I got the Desview for 129 and it has a touch screen. Not sure how that compares in price to this. I believe it’s 800 nits instead of 1000 tho
Which Desview?
I wish it have a HDMI out port
Me too!
