I remember getting to see them in 1998 as a 14 year old kid. They opened with bad habit. One the most insane openings still to this day. The band was young, we were young, it was absolute chaos for those first few opening minutes!

I would say mostly it is to change the arrangement a bit. Bands will do this sometimes to keep things fresh.
