Awesome Video! Where did you get your steamer? I'm trying to find a steamer online for making 2-4kg of rice at a time but it's hard in Canada

Thanks for your question! I got mine in NYC. Here's the video about my steamer: ruclips.net/video/ME_GbgKz5dU/видео.html. Might be best to find an Asian restaurant supply store like this: www.blogto.com/design/tap-phong/

I’ve seen wheat makgeolli made on RUclips and it looks like when Korea was required to ration rice, they would steam the wheat flour in place of rice. Dunno if that’s worth trying.

I’ll have to figure out how they did that!

Hi Jeff, I'm wondering how brewing Makgeolli with corn would turn out? It would be compare corn flour, rough ground corn, malted cooked corn used by distillers, and frozen cooked corn kernels.

Well, I do know that corn flavored makgeolli is a thing. Have to try and see.

@@JeffRubidge Hi Jeff, Thanks for your quick response as always! I will race you to see who tries it out first. Also looking forward to trying it with the infused banana. Thanks again.

I'm very experienced with fruit wine and mead brewing, but only have one rice wine batch under my belt. Is there any way l calculate ABV in rice wine without having an initial gravity reading?

Glad to hear you are brewing! Please watch these videos for my attempts at calculating ABV: ruclips.net/p/PLfbW3d1lMMCenpXf0qPTaMYgL1JIsuD6f. And please let me know if you have any questions...
