Nymphaeas, commonly named Water Lilies or Water Nymphs, with their showy, large, many-petalled flowers and round leaves, are exceptionally beautiful plants among the best-known aquatic flowers.
Because of their great beauty, Nymphaeas are extremely popular water garden plants, giving beautiful shapes and exquisite colors from white to blues to pinks and reds. Many Nymphaea hybrids have been developed in hues such as rose, orange, yellow, purple, and scarlet.
