The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is the premier late night talk show on CBS, airing at 11:35pm EST, streaming online via Paramount+, and delivered to the International Space Station on a USB drive taped to a weather balloon. @jrd7382 While she does seem to poke fun at John often, I do feel as though perhaps it’s her “British humor” coming through. From what I’ve heard, common British humor can have a darker tone, so while they may come across as insults I think she’s trynna be sarcastic. She does this quite a lot with other people/interviews as well lol. Somewhat satirical I suppose.
@JRD it's a joke. Called self deprication (as a couple). Very common in Britain (all nations)

And compared to many other contestants who passed the colbert questionaire she figuered the last question 'describe the rest of your life in 5 words' out quite fast! That was remarkable! Emily Blunt is not only beautiful, tough but also smart as it seems to me.
"The English" was incredible. I can't imagine what the entire production had to go through to make this beautiful, rugged series. I hope there's a Season 2.

I loved The English so much. I’m still obsessing over it, but I don’t think there’ll be a second season. The story is complete. Although I would love to see more of Chaske Spencer as Eli Whipp.

My favorite Colbert segment. Never heard of that particular sandwich but the addition of potato chips sounds fantastic. Emily and John are my favorite celebrity couple.

Emily should have that ol' jacket made into a toss cushion or a quilt! Jackets & other items such as baby clothes cut into little squares & sewn together while watching Netflix with your loved ones. Fun AND practical! PRO TIP: Just don't watch action movies there's not enough dialogue to follow, while you sew.😉

I like that he uses the French pronunciation. I worked with a guy with the last name Fairfield and he told us his family's original name from France was Beauchamps but they anglicized it when they came to the US. Yes, random.

@@TheGreenGoblinYT His name comes from Ireland. His dad told him he could choose how he wanted to pronounce it (I suspect this was prompted by questions from Stephen), so he did.

Now that y'all got me thinking, I came up with another possibility: she gave an awkward answer, and afterward her publicists asked the show producers to cut that question, to protect her image.
@@allendracabal0819 I am not sure, because later on I also noticed Stephen does not make the question "Exercise. Is it worth it?" anymore. So they just probably leave out some questions to make it quicker.
