How have I never listened to Italian minimalism until now? It has such a strong romantic quality that most American minimalism lacks.
Percussive minimalism, like Reich. The percussive music give that sensation of "always existed" , specially in this composition.
American minimalism has everything. Try LaMonte Young out.
