Experienced that in a colleague’s Safari recently.

You cannot expect 100% honesty and full blown criticism when Tata is paying for everything. He'll go full ballistic when he gets to speak with some customer car, spent his own fuel money, no embargo or not paid by Tata.
He pointed out all the mistakes mostly indirect which you I guess ignored, like engine stalling, noise on bumps, sharp edges, screen hang or black outs, windows do not roll down, less senors, clutch gets hard overtime, steering now responsive, gear shifting is not smooth, and list goes on.
I though the same, but then googled it. Turns out the old harrier and safari were not tested at any of the ncap program. Tata sent the harrier/safari for testing the first time in 2023 Oct. And the results were announced on 17th Oct 2023, e days after Gagan's video went live

Considering: - wud keep for 8-10 years - average running is 8k/year mostly in Pune - 15-20 long-short highway trips yearly - to be driven by myself and my wife We like Jeep compass because of its look, size, safety but are hesitant because of - doubt on Jeep long term presence in India - high maintenance & part cost (nt sure) - no 360 camera and ADAS We liked the new harrier in many aspects but again - It's cost is just 2-2.5 lakhs below compass - Premiumness, fit & finish not great as Compass - size is still bigger especially width (practical for city/traffic?) When companies are moving towards axial flux motors, Mahindra is looking to import normal electric motor from VW. Developing motors is less complex than developing engines but don't you think Indian companies need to start right now and try to supply the Europeans instead of the other way around?
Cars have become a lot more expensive nowadays... 25 lakhs for a Seltos, 30 lakhs on road for a Harrier? 40 lakhs for a Jeep Compass? 60 lakhs for a Fortuner? Why is this sudden rise of price all of a sudden? This wasn't the case 3 years ago.
Consumers buying power has increased,rich have become richer , favour is done towards rich class, also many middle class households have higher income now .
Don't know how people could appreciate the new complete touch controls by Tata in their new cars. First, they seriously lack asthetical pleasure - the tiny icons appear to be just randomly clustered around in one place (even if the controls are all touches, the layout could've been organised in a better way, like an grouped panel for AC, music etc with some better designed icons which are not too generic. Second, there's no proper haptic feedbacks, not to even mention the mistouches and lags mentioned in this vid apparently due to generic quality of these touch panels to cut cost. They not only aren't the best to operate but also aesthetically cheap. The overall icon layouts and the usb ports looks like some generic fancy aftermarkets.The only pro is that the concept of all touch control appear to be a bit futuristic or sophisticated. Seems like Tata is pushing tooooo desperately to digitalise their cabin. An elegant combo of well designed physical and digital controls would've been much better for this range of car.

@@alphacretz So it depends on manufacturers. They all give warnings and disconnets when rpm goes low or high. Some cars pauses and resumes the Cruise control when gear is changed. Some cars just pause and manual input is required to turn it back on.
Jabardasti ki khamiya dikhti hai aapko. Because me Swift Sonet ka owner rah chuka hun and seltos bhi experience ki hui hai but ese issues bahat hai usme bhi. Usme to aap ye pointout nahi karte. Best in Tata and Mahindra is no khad khad dhad dhad, real muscular and solid feel lagta hai when croasing over bumpers. Even ergonomics and arrangement of things and interior are better thought of in Tata.

I don't think TATA is sending these for testing. These are well built, no doubt, but getting good scores has low chances.
You have a keen eye Mr. Gagan, all the things pointed out by you were very much noticeable I see there is an evident lack of understanding in the comment section about the coherency, aesthetics, practicality and how all of them are combined to get a robust feature set. Iss wale update me to 4×4 nhi to kam se kam all wheel drive system dena chahiye tha tab yhe ek tough choice or compitition hoti ki Scorpio-N ki. Tab logo ko ek clear idea ata ki Scorpio-N lene chahiye yha harrier. But still harrier is not a complete SUV like Scorpio-N.
Touch panels for ac and other control are not ergonomically good. They definitely need to have haptic feedback. It can be distracting for the driver to use while driving.

@@alphacretz So it depends on manufacturers. They all give warnings and disconnets when rpm goes low or high. Some cars pauses and resumes the Cruise control when gear is changed. Some cars just pause and manual input is required to turn it back on.

Jabardasti ki khamiya dikhti hai aapko. Because me Swift Sonet ka owner rah chuka hun and seltos bhi experience ki hui hai but ese issues bahat hai usme bhi. Usme to aap ye pointout nahi karte. Best in Tata and Mahindra is no khad khad dhad dhad, real muscular and solid feel lagta hai when croasing over bumpers. Even ergonomics and arrangement of things and interior are better thought of in Tata.

Sir , Ev car k liye koi 1Kwh ( very slow) charger aata h kya.. because Tata k saath Jo charger aata h wo 3.3 kWh ka hai... jab hum baahr jaate hai to Kai baar wha power plug nhi hota ... normal plug hota hai... unke meter ka load bhi Kam hota h..
3.3kw almost har jagah kaam karega bhai.
Iss wale update me to 4×4 nhi to kam se kam all wheel drive system dena chahiye tha tab yhe ek tough choice or compitition hoti ki Scorpio-N ki. Tab logo ko ek clear idea ata ki Scorpio-N lene chahiye yha harrier. But still harrier is not a complete SUV like Scorpio-N.
Touch panels for ac and other control are not ergonomically good. They definitely need to have haptic feedback. It can be distracting for the driver to use while driving.
But there touch botton for AC and others stuff and issue with accidentally touching buttons on stearing wheel is irritating
