Your Swedish is so nice to hear, and it helps so much to improve my listening! And the subtitles are such a nice addition! I'm glad that I found you, you make my learning your beautiful language so much more pleasant, tusen tack

Tack! This sort of video really helps me learn Swedish (Finland) whilst listening and reading the subtitles (in English)! Much better than trying to read subtitles when watching films in Swedish.

Oh, this is so good! I've only been living here in Sweden for some 6 weeks now, and I knew no Swedish whatsoever. I've been throwing myself into hours of study everyday, but it is extremely challenging coming from my Australian background. I love your slow videos, and this is so good to learn with, especially the fact that you also showed the pictures to the book! Thank you for the awesome work, Katrin, it is much appreciated! 👍👌❤️

Katrin, Vanya is so lucky to have a creative aunt like you!
We're so lucky that you are doing these slow Swedish lessons, I really appreciate it! I was at the grocery store, speaking out loud while looking for a food item, I was repeating twinkle twinkle little star (like you have taught us in your Swedish nursery rhymes) and a guy who was in that isle, heard me, and asked me for information on a food item he was looking at, he heard me speaking in Swedish and thought I could speak it fluently, since he is Swedish , I told him I was learning, thanks to you, and this was in Cali! so thank you for doing this, really appreciate it!

I hope that book was published!! What a great book for kids and parents. Your artwork is amazing too. I think lots of kids would LOVE your book here in North America where “snot” is a word rarely used outside the home and not too much inside either, lol. Kids here would have a blast reading about a snot bubble being used as a way to fly!! 😊

I can’t thank you enough for these types of videos you are sharing with us. It is a great help as you put both subtitles. so first I watch the video with Swedish subtitle, one more time with English subtitle, then I write the whole dialogue on my notebook and finally, try to listen without looking at the subtitles 😊 and I can already feel the progress I have made with your help.
You are the best and keep up the good work!

I really like these videos my swedish is as of right now at a very early stage I know a few Swedish words and want to learn more. I really think your channel is perfect for me since I learned English by watching movies with subtitles, and later by watching RUclipsrs without subtitles. I was planning on watching Swedish movies with English subtitles but this is probably a lot better since I can now also hear how you pronounce the words much clearer.

Hi Katrin, I really like your slow swedish videos. I am not native english speaker nor swedish speaker. When i watch your videos i have swedish subtitles on. However i often do not know meaning of some words (sometimes i forget or i see them first time) so i have struggle to understand. It is very helpful to have english subtitles also, but it is unfortunate that there is no option to play both english and swedish subtitles at once. Is there any possibility that you put swedish subtitles into the video for me to be able to have both subtitles playing at once? It would be very helpful for me to see english translation next to english subtitles. Maybe I am not alone and other people would like to see that. What do you think about that people?
