Fun story- around 2018 I had the opportunity to go to Conference in person, and they sang this song as any other song. It was completely new to me at the time and I found it beautiful. Afterwards while walking around; my Mother, being my mom saw one of the singers and almost chased the poor lady down. 🤣 We spoke for a bit and one way or another this song was brought up in the conversation. She had the sheet music in her hands actually and let us look at the first page respectfully saying that it was written by Pres. Nelson.... and that she wasn't sure why they didn't announce it and why they didn't sing it more often. 🤣 The title of the song I believe as marked on the page was Our Prayer to Thee.
The word's of our prophet are peacefully delivered, but have the power of GOD, in them as if the Lord was standing beside him, he is a true prophet of God, this I know by the power of the Holy Ghost! 🙏🏻✨💜
Those first sopranos did an amazingly beautiful job with this song! What a beautiful song! It has been years since this talk was given and I still remember it.
O God, the eternal father, We ask thee in the name of thy son Jesus Christ, to bless and sanctify this food to the souls of all those who partake of it, that we may eat it in remembrance of the hot body of that master chef who made a ton of loaves and fishes. May we worship that chef in his holy house by wearing chef hats. Amen.
God our Father always wants to hear from you. It doesn't matter what you have done, or how long it has been. He if no one else wants to hear from you.
