This cycle thing seems made up to me. I think anything predictable has to already be priced in. Am I wrong about this?
Maybe.
Just use the charts to determine there *is* a quantifiable cycle. Don't measure from the halvings: measure _from_ the bear bottom, to the bull top. Then work out the timeframe = ~ FOUR years.
There is a great YT channel that has a playlist, on this very aspect. It was he who convinced me this _is_ real. Find Jason P.

News that Mt Gox circa 141,000 BTC and BCH will be returned early in July...
It will be interesting to see if some of those early Bitcoin adopters were Big Blockers, if they sell BTC and buy BCH ( 1 into 160 )

Right, but if we have cycles from halving to halving which is not exactly 4 years on the nose, then months aren't equally comparable, for example comparing april to april wouldn't make sense, instead we should maybe look at the months from the halving or maybe from the previous top, and compare those, like september 2016 vs july 2020 vs june 2024.. Those numbers wouldn't look alike either, since we look more like 2019 or better yet august 2016, but it would at least make more sense imo

You _do_ realise that if you are an American Citizen, who doesn't live in WashingtonDC *_OR_* work for the Federal Government, you are *not* required to pay income tax. It states it, in the US Constitution. There are those who haven't paid taxes, for over a decade.
